I would like to bring to the attention of the general public that the Eurobash is almost upon us again.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, the Eurobash is an informal gathering of miniature games enthusiasts (most members of W-E) held annually in St-Niklaas Belgium.
The idea is a weekend filled with friendly gaming, no competition allowed. Of course we're playing to win, but not for keeps, so to speak. Further practical info can be found here :

Painting and modelling competition 2013 entries thread.

In view of the successes of last year, the painting competition continues.
Themes for 2013 :
Januari : Witch Hunter
Februari : Converted Elector Count (preferably with no existing figure)
March : Siege Cannon ( A BIG great cannon with 5 crew)
April : Converted Caster (Wizard/WP/AL etc...)
May : Unit (at least 10) of State Troops.
June : Militia Unit (at least 10)
July :
August :
September :
October :
November :
December :
Entries can be made by replying in this thread. Maximum of 3 entries per forum member(Sorry Steveb).
NO OTHER REPLIES HERE PLEASE, or I disqualify you !

New management of the Tactica Board

Big changes are occurring across the site. While the changes to the off topic boards have received the most attention, we are adjusting staff responsibilities and adding positions.
First among them is the raising of Holy Hand Grenade to the position of Imperial Tactician. His Tactical Decision threads have been remarkable and entertaining. His dedication to presenting and managing these has been wonderful to watch. His new position gives him control over the Tactica board and the threads within. In the coming months we hope to get the tacticas organized and updated, as well. His tactical decision threads will reside there and allow him to better control and manage the events.
