we get ALL the candy of this edition

- All BrB Magic lores

- cheap mages to cast them

- cheap infantry is the way to go

- ARTILLERY, in all sizes and shapes with re rolls...on well everything if we want to. The Hellblaster is incredible if it doesn´t blow up but the Hellstorm rockets are just insane

- Dispel dice generated by hero choices that grant our untis hatred

- greatswords are great again...pardon golden.

What size game? Was your army list similar to what you were using under 7th? Was his? What's your thinking on why the opponent lost?

Okay, lots of stuff to comment on.

Yes Fandir, we got alot of goodies, but i dont think we are a power house. Our infantry is still meh compared to alot else.

Regarding the heroes. No in smaller games such as 1000 and 1500 I cant field as many heroes as i would like. I like to gear them up with magic items.

WoC really got a superb boost.
Give them mark of tzentch and a sorcerer with magic resistance and they have a good save against magic and a 5+ ward save in close combat.

Soth I gave up against WoC in turn 3 or 4 last time.. It happens, especially with new rules.

Saturday was me and my girlfriends 6 month anniversary, we saw despicable me, then went to an expensive restaurant and had great food. then we went home with a bottle of champagne. The anniversary went well into Sunday.

First to satisfy the thread I had a really great weekend with the warhammer weib.....only downside we watched two very evil depressing movies.

Other than that it was leisure time.

On the note of Warriors of Chaos. Those guys have no shooting? Just shoot them to smithereens.

Here in a few days I am headed to the Gulf for some R&R...

errr...

I will be cleaning oil soaked wildlife. Yes. If any oil soaked wildlife crawls up on the beach and by the pool, I'll pour a margarita on it and kick it into the poll so the chlorine water can clean them.

Just doin my part for nature.

Make sure the VA rep you work with knows what they are doing. After two years I'm still trying to unf__k the mistakes my putz VA jerkoff made when I tried to use the GI Bill.
