Just possibly found a shoe-box that will fit me, 10 seconds from the MTR, 1 stop from where I work and spend most of my time anyway, 4500 a month + electricity/water which I should be able to afford hands down.

Hopefully get to visit the place this week - Oh and it's fully furnished!

Yep, there are quite a few of us over there.  The pre-game is down to a dull roar at the moment, but we're under the impression that the 1st Turn will be starting soon.  I suspect there will be less time spent here than there once it really gets cranking.

i dont know i'll only have 23 Kossars (not exactly sure what I can use them as counts-as in my empire army either). No idea how I get more models as much as I love the Winged lancer. I mean I guess I could do an Empire Mk2 army instead of another race...

I mean they're still in their original packaging and everything!

Suppose you might find folks selling them over the internet.

You could also convert more, the newest additon of archers/huntsmen have a bunch of heads that could be collected over time, and even their bodies could work.

Then again, maybe just having a few units of them for "counts as" is a place to use them.  That way, if you don't end up with more, at least you still have put those to good use. :icon_cool:

Good news!

I've been informed that my shock troops order form Wargames factory has arrived at a retail store I purchased them from.

Very excited about getting these.  I got 3 boxes plus an extra sprue as one of the pre-order deals, which means I can make something like 57 guys.  I'm thinking of making two seperate forces for initial use as skirmish sci-fi gaming, yet might turn these into an IG force at some point as well.

I love the sun.
The only reason why I would want to be super rich would be to afford to live in the southern hemisphere from January-April.

I like the sun but there hasn't been any for ages.

Actually, it was quite nice the other day. It was no-shirt weather. So that made me happy!

April gets a bit cold. December to March would be better - though you would miss out on your weird snowy christmas.

We almost never have one of those anyway. Last year was an exception.

That's why I said January!
And I'm sure your definition of "a bit cold" is different to ours.
October November and December I can handle- halloween, bonfire night, christmas, new years.
It's just January, February and MArch which are cold rainy dark and depressing. ugh.

Finally got to play Warhammer Roleplay (2nd edition) last night. I was a human vagabond and the biggest coward my group's ever seen. It was really fun to be on the player side of the table for a change. By not having to make sure every NPC encountered was at least a bit interesting, I could really go all out with my character and we had a few good laughs on his cowardly antics. It was a test with another GM (a friend of mine from the Netherlands who came over for a few days), so we can't really continue this game, but I definetely wouldn't say no to a WHRP campaign being started in my group.

Also, I went to a Streetlight Manifesto gig on Monday! :::cheers:::
