Ironically I thought the team as a whole actually looked better under Forcier. I think he's the better quarterback, while Robinson is the better all around player. He has the athletic talent to do well almost anywhere. The game was quite close, and had Molk (our center) not gotten injured it would have been much closer. Without the missed (of course) field goal and the INT in the endzone in the first it was a tie game.
The Buckeyes loosing, and loosing decisively at that, made this an almost great day though. I still think Michigan will go 8-4, which is tons better than the last two years.
Also, the past couple have games have proven that Rich Rod is a very conservative play caller, not something that works well with the talent we have. It's quite obvious that going for on 4th and less than 3 is almost a sure shot, and he just doesn't seem to realize it. He also somehow managed to burn almost a minute at the end of the first half for no reason at all. We were about on the 35 with a minute 30 some left, possible if not a sure thing. And he just ran the clock.
