It is an action game at its core, so if you aren't into timed dodges and attacks, it isn't something you want!

Dark souls 2 remastered as well!

At first I wasn't entirely happy at having to rebuy, but at a mere US$16 I guess I could live with it.  But I'm still a bit wary, since I've heard that the DX11 version doesn't really look all that much better than DX9.

I have read that the PC version isn't really greatly improved.

On the PS4 on the other hand, it is supposed to be great.

Killed Amelia and took the Tonsil Stone to where I was told to go, that area with the two hunters. Amygdala...

Thanks! Guess I'll pass then. Maybe play "Dishonored" instead.

I'm not even sure where I took the tonsil stone...

Amygadala was cool as hell.  That there are hints of him throughout the game is extra cool!

You take it to him - his name means tonsil in Latin!

I haven't fought him yet, he just grabbed me and pulled me into that building. I need to go back to the FF and kill the boss there.

how long is fallout 1 and 2 respectively?  Is it shorter than Fallout 3?

Spent much of yesterday getting eviscerated by those goddamn mosquito spider things at the start of the Cainhurst level.  Gave up this morning, did some suicide runs to get all the items (not really worth it) and then just ran past them.  If you do it right they don't even aggro.  Got through quite a bit of it, opened two shortcuts so probably near the boss now.  The gargoyles there have a chance of dropping chunks, so managed to get my BoM up to +8.

Fashion Souls is well served by the Knight set, I think.

Very nuch depends on how you mean.  If you exhaust the content?  fallout 1 is shorter and fallout 2 is roughly the same length.

By take it to him do you mean you go to him and cave his head in because thats what happened when I met out Tonsil friend.  I had the stone in my inventory and wasn't given any options...

I'm not looking for 100% completion.  Just if I sticking with the story.

I think the cutscene where he grabs you and brings you inside the lecture building only occurs if you have the stone.

I'm going to Cainhurst.

Ahhh, yeah.  Thats a lesser Amgylalaglala, not the real dude.

I thought you meant the real him!

I don't know how to get to Cainhurst yet I don't think.  I'm still dealing with the Nightmares.

That's a lesser? Damn, he was huge!

Cainhurst needs an invite. You get it from the Clinic. I haven't finished the Forbidden Forest yet.

Killed Amygdala just using a hunters pistol +6 and that ash stuff. Very amusing.
I thought he should act responsibly and just kill himself.

I beat the hell out of him with a +9 Lidwigs sword and 11 blood vials.  He wasn't bad.  Killed him first try.

I hear new game plus is insanely difficult

Indeed, the tropes wiki mentions that the developers themselves can't beat it.

I'm playing a Blood/Arcane build so can't wait to do Cainhurst for the Evelyn and Chikage.

I just grabbed Evelyn.  Those spider people are pretty messed up at Cainhurst.  I'm making my way through the library there currently.  I have two parts of the umbilical, need to get the spider in the Nightmare area, and have Caihurst.  No idea how much game is left at this point, but I haven't even entered the chalice dungeons yet.

I started the first Chalice dungeon, did the first boss. It's pretty easy, I'm obviously way overleveled. Different enemies though, which is cool. Not all recycled stuff.

Just beat Logarius.  First phase he's pretty slow and telegraphs his attacks, but second phase he really gets aggressive.  Took me half a dozen or so attempts but I finally got him with a couple of lucky parries.

Talked to Annalise, then finished Alfred's questline, now have all three covenant runes which actually appear to be fairly useless but oh well.  Also have access to chikage and logarius wheel thing, but looking at them I don't think either fit my build.  Guess I'll stick with Blades of Mercy.

I haven't even thought about chalice dungeons yet.

I'm using the Blades at the moment, do you tend to use the dual or single blade? I find myself always parrying, so I only have the single out and it feels kind of a waste. The double with a high endurance build and the beast pellets must be amazing.
