If the mortar gets reined in to small template I figure this to be just an alternate model for it but who knows...

I'm assuming finecast rather than a totally new sculpt.

But if they're doing it at all, I hope it indicates some halfling love coming our way soon.

I think it is time for some magneto fu it should be easy enough to switch the top of the mage mobile with the use of magnets.

Lore of heaven is not too bad just not as great as....SHADOW...but nothing is.

I guess the mage mobiles will be a bit like the altar of the dark elves...choose one of the skills and either zapp or grant 5+ ward save or....

Hmm, I almost put my old lead one up on ebay. Guess, I'm not now.  $30 dollars is obscene. Glad I got mine when it was still dirt cheap.

I'd like to think that this means halflings are in the army book. But that list also has the three ages of Valten in it, and I can't imagine he's going to have rules.

Still, maybe!

Now, if the Hot pots comes, I will get one. Just so you know. Then I can finally field my intrepid halfling Masterchef Engineer Pany on the tabletop! Weehoo!

At least a model that can fit in my Stirland army.
Oh, and remember GW made it personal, not you!

The halfling hot pot is currently listed at £15.50 on the GW Website

and do you know where ............................. in the Empire area of the Collectors Section.

Do you know what is also listed and pictured in that section ..................   Lumpin Croops Fighting Cocks   :engel:

So what Midaski is trying to tell everyone, if you want a hotpot, you better get them now while you can still get two of them for the price you'll pay for one in two weeks!

£15.50 is absurd enough for that model! I think it cost £3 originally, and it's not that nice anyway.

Surely you can get one cheaper on ebay.

What I was actually suggesting was that if the Hot Pot is in the book ............ the Halfling Archers may be as well ................

Well, obviously! They are hardly likely to include the hotpot without other halflings.

I still have my metal pot from 4th, so I guess I dodged a pricey bullet there.

I may have to get Lumpin Croop though, I only have five or six halfling archers, though I generally just mix them with my other archers.

Hot pot and archers have never been removed from collectors. They continue to sell even though they are not in the book. Also look at the wait time for the DOW pike units in collectors. So expect finecast for those also.

Do not think they are in the new book.

I'd hate to be the one trying to straighten out those pikes -- have to be plastic all the way.
