I'll take the stew.

I Liked the Quirkiness of 4th, even if the rules were more overpowered, the fluff was better.

Large template, STR 3 hit, STR 5 under hole, no saves? yes please. Besides the moral loss to having a unit killed by soup.

It was small template, and under hole was S3 also.

At least thats what I remember, or what the DoW rules for it were...

In 4th what is now the small template was the large one, and the 4th small template was tiny and had no hole.

The description of the new finecast hot pot says it makes a great substitute for the mortar and rocket launcher. I'm guessing not included in the new rules as it's own unique thing.

not available anymore in gw france.

The metal one or the Finecast one? seems odd that they would go through the effort of casting it in FC just to immediately take it off the market.

It doesn't seem to be available anymore. Anyone know since when? (and where I might still get one new?)

Kinda odd yeah, they took the effort to specially release it in finecast, do nothing with it, and silently take it down (or perhaps that was with the whole website revamp; which is horrible imho).

Somehow, I get the impression you were in a coma for two years, recently woke up again, and now are trying to pick up life, where you left it.  :icon_wink:

Why bad?
Better to use available threads then to open a new thread (which is just spamming in my book).
(and actually it's Google that gets me to all my old posts somehow  XD )

But... nobody replied in the end!

It's nice Halflings are in the Kings of War list though. Looking forward to a playtest with that.

There's a Halfling list for Dragon Rampant, although no hot pot.

Plus Westfalia came up with a list using their halfmen figures for several different rule systems, but alas no hot pots there either.

I found a picture once of the old small steam tank towing a fire box on which was cooking the Halfling hotpot. Wish I could find it again.

I love that model. I think it was made for a 6th ed ogre army where they replaced gnoblars with halflings - the fluff was that the halflings were revolting and hired a bunch of ogres to help. The steam hot pot wagon was a stand-in rhinox scrap launcher.

Thank you Fidelis, that's the one. Must have a go at my version of that sometime. So to start old small steam tank, and do you think that's a dwarf cannon or Empire for the trailer.

Nope it is the old Dwarf Flame cannon, the wooden barrel and the bellows are a dead giveaway
