I also think about it realjuan, but The quality The customer awaits from the seller today and The prices you have to make to Dell them anyway are so unreachable for New ones that I hake that Idea beside. That doesn't mean I m not trying to get something in The quality for trading.

I give you The colours as Soon as I come gone from work. ;)

OK. So here is the reason why I don't show any painting processes in the last days. I was busy to create some trophy's for our Clan tournament and a Regiment filler for the dwarfen army I was painting at the moment.so here are the two masters:

Dwarfen Cave archway molded with Super Sculpey on plastic card

Tournament trophy sculpted on Aluminium sheetwith super sculpey, Miliput and greenstuff

I made a moldingbox with Lego bricks which are incredible proof for Mold making. No silicon escape and you can customise them to every single thing you wanna make a mold from for minimal silicon use. Also put an underground of wax putty (children play stuff, fatfree) to get the gapses of the mold where I want them.

a little work with the calculator and the right amount of silicon was mixed together ( I use an 1:1silicon mix called Si6Gb)

After an half hour you can pull the mold out (just read the note by the silicon how long you have to wait)

so now we can cast our molds. here are some pics. and never forget to put some extra molds nearby so if you mixed to much resin you have something to pull it in. In my case I made some Basemolds

so here are some Casts after releasing the molds after the Harding process (also look at the notes how long you have to mix it up and how long your resin need to set down)

here is the cast of the archway

and here are the plank Trophy's

painted they look like this: the woodbases are going to get painted black

Can't wait to learn that!

Being able to cast details like barrels, crates or skulls or duplicate larger items like walls or archways seems like a useful skill when you want to build dioramas. I have some bases for miners somewhere we could use for a first attempt.

thanks a lot for all the compliments. as soon as I do another Mold I will make a better Tutorial for you guys. But for now I m back on my undead trip.....

So after this "Miltonic" session in Copping I have finished the head of my Nagash, and I think there where en ought timespend on it (about 8-10 h). There is enough nagash left to spent reallymassive time on it. XD

so here some pics and I hope you like him:

And for those who asked, here are my colour shemas:

Armour

Bones

Aether/Warp

I also started colourbasing the armour parts of Nash's Body. Yeah with the brightest orange I can find. From thins I go down with the Colours over red into nearby black. The Orange goes as a primer to make my red look brighter and colourfuller. As I go on I will show more pics of the Procedure and so you can see what I mean....

The head looks amazing. I wish I had the patience to do the bone like you have but found I was a bit thick on the layers and my attempted highlighting went a bit blobby, I ended up preferring the look I had beforehand which cut down on several hours painting. I bought nagash last Saturday and spent most of the Sunday doing the robes, spirits and basing purple. Monday night I highlighted purple. Tuesday night I highlighted the robes. Wed night the bones. Thurs night the books and finishing touches. Prob took about 15-20 hours in total. I don't normally paint as intensely as that but I was in a real 'I want to get this done' mood.

Can't wait to see the armour.

The first time I see the colors scheme of your Nagash I didn't like it. It looked too "happy" for such charakter and it's still a bit strange to me. But I'm looking forward to your WIPs.

I think the colour scheme matches the 40K nature of the Nagash model quite well.

The model looks far more 40K than Fantasy.

I don't see it.

Nagash is suppose to be a giant armoured demigod liche that used to be a priest king. I'm not very happy with some of the design choices but I don't get 40k vibes from it.

The bright orange definitely makes it look like space armour. It's clearly not finished yet though, so hold your horses everyone.

No worries. The orange gets the same redtone as the hat. It is just the basecolour. At the Moment my whole living Room is filled with Terrain from our Hobbyclan to Remake it Till new year. I will Post some pics in the afternoon.

I think it's looking pretty good. I like the way the red looks on his hat (Doom Hat?) so it should end up looking pretty spiffy on his armor.

so we got some 40k Terrain ready. just to paint the bases and seal everthing. this are our "main" ruins ruin-buildings. To get some more color into the Battlefield I decided to brush them with two different color shemes. hope you like it:

I knowyou are not that deep into 40k but after we painted the 40k stuff our Fantasy terrain gets refreshed and colored.maybe you are more interested in that?

There is a 40K child board in the Counts Tavern. I am sure the regulars there would appreciate your pictures.
