The Fate of Heroes...
« on: July 04, 2015, 08:39:00 AM »
So who lived and Became Eternals? This is just speculation but could our past heroes have been scooped up by Sigmar?

A direct quote of the, albiet merger fluff...

The great heroes of the realms were torn from their lives and transported to Azyrheim...

... There they were reforged in to champions of order

Could that mean that guys like Markus Wulfhart (Who appears too have lived) are now Eternals?

At this point, I'd be surprised if anybody WASN'T scooped up by Sigmar and his Band of Saturday-morning misfits.
Now go! Ride towards the sun atop these noble steeds
You're our spandex heroes, now fullfil your destinies
And so we turned and rode beyond the castle walls
with shiny codpiece armour that doth cradle our chivalrous balls

But do they have imaginary horses? That's the question.

Looks like Balthasar Gelt's a good guy again.
Bit like wrestlers one minute they are the good guys, next think everyone boo's because they now beat up good guy's.

The impression I got was that the majority of the heroes came from the "Age of Myth" or whatever: one of the intermediary periods between "our" WFB and the Age of Sigmar. So we've probably never heard of any of the canonical ones. I can't actually see from the background as written how anything from the Old World could have survived at all apart from those folks who were already gods, but maybe there'll be some more in the background book I'm not going to read.

I do hope the elves have some myths. Since part of them emigrated to their Haven there is some hope.
