He's looking fierce! Great job  :::cheers:::

Also, although it's an odd thing to pick up on, I like how you've picked out his finger and toenails in a lighter shade. It's an often missed out part of figure painting and just helps bring him that bit more to life.

Mightymatt88: thanks alot, I appreciate it! :biggriin:

Haha, haven't really given it much thought, I just spent several hours on it, and then it seemed natural to paint the nails, as they were sculpted.

Finished the slayers!

I'm very excited about these minis, in my opinion they are my best work yet!
And, I don't think the pictures do them justice.

Thanks mate, can't have slayers without tattoos.

Next is a celebrating dwarf, drinking from a skull cup, a deathroller and the stand for all the minis, with a "dwarven" look to it. Lots of work. :smile2:

Lovely, but dwarfs drink beer, right? So that liquid stuff should be yellow / white(foam) not red!

I have finally finished the dwarven blood bowl team project!

I'm quite happy with the result!

I build the stand from scrap, and this is the first time i've tried using flowers on a base.
I think they work well. :biggriin:

My next project is an old slann mage priest and a couple of other lizardmen. :smile2:
They are supposed to be included as part of a lizardmen bloodbowl team. So, in reality, more bloodbowl, but a little different than a ton of linemen.

A nice dark porter sounds dwarfy!

Looks good -- both the display stand and the flowers. They look like wildflowers, and look natural with the way you did the rest of the basing materials. Are they a pre-made product or did you make them yourself?

I bought the flowers in sheets from a company called 'the army painter'. They have a wide range of basing stuff. :-D

« Reply #73 on: February 24, 2016, 12:40:42 PM »
Since last post, I've been painting this weird fellow.. :?

I found it very challenging to paint this mini, as it resembles nothing I've ever painted before!
I'm pretty satisfied with the result, but I'm glad i dont have to paint an entire team of these guys. :-P

Next up is a Lizardmen bloodbowl team. This is quite a different assignment, as I only have to paint two minis.
The rest of the team has already been painted, so my job is to paint a slann mage preist mini, as the team's coach, and the Tehenhauin, prophet of Sotek mini. I look forward to show you guys pictures of these minis + the "temple-style" stand that I'm going to build for this team.
