These models are terrific let alone the painting. They are truly scary. Good to see you back Ursa

I don't like the bone golem as a sculpt much. Well, i can appreciate what they did, and i think you did a great job painting it, picking out all the detail and everything, and i think the knees are clever, but i don't like the model that much. Whereas the swamp monster looks challenging to paint too, but i also think the model looks good to start. I think Ursa also was able to capture the sliminess well, and also pull a lot of detail out of the smoother surfaces.

Here's another Conan mini. I had a lot of fun painting it and I'm pleased with how the hair turned out. I rather like that the demons in this boardgame doesn't look too alien and outlandish. It's kinda refreshing just having the old school look. I also adore how the Forest Devil looks like it's human in origin just like it was in Beyond the Black River by Robert E. Howard.

Thanks, Artobans. :smile2: I do like making them look as spooky as I can in a down to earth way.

Yeah, the pose of the Bone Golem is pretty silly, but I also get that it is that way because it's easier to manufacture. I still grew fond of it, though. As for the Swamp Devil, it was slightly challenging because I wanted the details to stand out without losing the general green tint.

Looks like he was caught in the act of doing something horrible to what ever was in his hands. Awesome work. Bring it on!

Thanks, Artobans. :biggriin:

The pose is pretty unique for a miniature. In the story he collected heads. Since he doesn't have a blade I decided that he would probably rip their heads of with his bare hands. So I painted his hands all messy to represent this.

Another Conan mini. I like it despite the skipped leg day. I also touched up one of my Space Wolves minis.

I like the demon of the earth paintjob and sculpt.

Also, even though the dark demon forgot leg day, he still worked on his tight buttocks!

Thanks guys. :smile2: One more to go and I have painted all of the 5 Conan demons that Monolith have released.

I really enjoyed painting the Demon of the Earth and I think that I kinda nailed the look in the  illustration.

I have painted some more Conan minis and I'm now done with all the demons/devils. Although, I still got a couple of cosmic horrors to ad to the bunch. I'm kinda loving the snake and I should soon be done with it.

These are very well painted minis!  :-)

Pity I don't feel strong connection to such mounds of naked muscle. I hope one day to see you paint Empire or renaissance men.

As a group they look really fantastic.

And the snake is very cool!

Agreed. I've said it before but don't mind saying again, these are the stuff of nightmares. Keep up the good work Ursa!

Thanks guys. :smile2: I also just painted the kickstarter exclusive feline from yet again the same game.

Don't worry. I'll get there eventually. I'm just kinda waiting for Warlord Games to put out those plastic landsknechts. For now I'm just immersed in classic pulp fantasy which originally got me into the genre. :biggriin:

Very nice sabertooth.  The stripes are ace.

Great looking work there Ursa Doom, your Marienburgers and Middenhiemers make me want to paint my own Empire Miniatures sitting at my parent's place 500km's away. Oh well.

I especially like the Tiger, you have captured the colours perfectly and those stripes are wonderful.

Looks all like heresy to me. A good Sigmarite would put the tiger into the Steam Tank...

So I decided to do something that I have been wanting for a while now ever since GW released the AoS Flesh Eater Courts army, which is an army based on Undead Bretonnians. Here are my first two prototype miniatures made out of Mantic Games Ghouls.
