Sisters of battle ARE NOT celibate. Its just a misconception. Amberly Vail once said something along the line of
"Adaptas sorotias are not celibate, many of them just don't find the time to not be" [or something like that]

That is a single line, from a book series which many have argued is actually parody, and it make absolutely no sense. I flatly ignore it because, frankly, it is contradicted by the implications of the rest of the background as well as common sense.
