That is already "k" too much.
It is not enough to have no ideas of your own; you must also be incapable of expressing them.

That seems, while insane, utterly in character.

Look carefully at the casting....
1) Its not a very good cast?? slipped??? bootleg??? ::heretic:: ::heretic:: ::heretic:: ::heretic:: ::heretic::
with some real hardcore mold lines.

I only hope that it is genuine.

But is it worth it?

Casting quality in Citadel's earlier years was pretty variable. Plus this figure wasn't in regular production, so there's no telling what sort of conditions it was cast in.

Been buying Citadel since the pre-hammer and Newark foundry location but would have still passed that cast over as it is rather grotty. :closed-eyes:

Rare or not it is ugly. I understand that for a collector the last missing thing in a collection is valuable. But a 1000 is even with the huge inflation in the uk to much.

I wish you all the luck man. May the best empire man win.

If you want it, you want it (I spent quite a bit on various unreleased figures myself), though I usually draw the line where the price is such that I could have a sculptor sculpt a copy for less.

So what's the story behind Mr. Nuln? Who sculpted him, and why did he appear in the adverts but never make it into production?

I only hope that it is genuine.

Not to be a cynic, but that would be my concern as well. The sellers may well be honest, but how can they know?

Some sculptors (e.g. McVey or the guy behind Kingdom Death) hand out certificates of origin, but I doubt there is one for this model. At the very least I would ask the sellers where they got it from.

The seller must have been in the industry in the 80s to have the things he's selling. The poor cast on the Nuln Spearman is probably why it never made production...

Four hours to go!

I will admit; I am excited too (I am watching the item in eBay, but will not be bidding :) )

That was anticlimactic. I was expecting a last minute bidding war to push it over $2k US.

That's allot of chocolate oranges.
Think the bidders are like serious as in auction room serious, not like most of us who try to grab the bargain at the last moment. Notice how all name concealed.
