Nice minis.

For the bases, the correct multi-purpose answer is probably 20mm round bases and "conversion" movement trays, like these:

Round aesthetic (which I admit I do like) and completely 8th Ed compatible...

Thank you!

Nice movement trays and not that expensive. I actually made my own movement tray, but that might miff some people the wrong way.

Welcome on the forum GrandMagnus!

Always it's a pleasure to see more of those Stirland colours! I like specially the shield designs and the "gatekeepers" background! Have you checked the Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire book? it could be a very good source for another units with their shields, standards, etc.

I agree with previous comments, square bases for the win! At least for units acting as a regiment, it would be easy to play more systems in any case that with the round ones :icon_wink:

Thank you! Stirland is the best imperial state in my opinion. I have the Uniforms and Heraldry book and Im planning on adding some Stir River patrol and some tilean or estalian mercenary crossbowmen (count as regular crossbowmen), maybe even a unit of Death Jacks. Still considering the base change.

Thank you! :) I've wanted to do Empire ever since I started back in the 6th ed. I'm a bit sad that I started after the rise of AoS, but oh well.

BTW, I finished one handgunner so I'll try to get a picture of him tomorrow after work. And I'm having trouble with the banner for the halberdier regiment, trouble getting ideas I like so it might be a while before I post him.

You may want to check the Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire. Lots of cool banner and color schemes there.

Yeah, I've been looking at it, none of the Stirland banners seem interesting, though some of the shield designs do so I might just take on of those and apply it to the banner. Or steal on of the other state banners and change it's colours :P
