Week 13:
Saturday 25th & 26th:
I worked on my homemade warcry Belltower, goblin edition.
It is based on some hobbit terrain and lots of other bits. It is still not finished, but I'm happy the way it comes along :-)
I also used structure paint to get a rock like effect. Not completely satisfied but getting their!

Monday 27th & Wednesday 29th:
I started (and worked further) on the Nominios Occulum. Man their is a lot of little details on this bugger!

Thursday 30th:
I finished my gaming board for Warcry, I fixed the handels, varnished the top layer, put some anti-slip on the other side so I can storage my terrain on it when not in use (but that keeps coming lose). Since finishing it, I'm thinking of chancing one of the insides with a lid, so I can put in my rulebook, cards, dice,... Still not sure how I'm going to do that!

Week 14:
Friday 31th & Sunday 2th:
I worked more on my Nominios Occulum. I wasn't quite happy with my previous colour choices, so I had to go back and change them... Now it looks more like I imagined it, still not quit finished, but I hope it will be done by the end of the week as a nice finish for the 100th day :-)

I don't know if I can make it, but I will try. It depends a lot on the time of the day with our 1 year old.
Also, it will be a heat wave this weekend, and maybe I'm not that enjoyable... I don't like those very hot temperatures.

Taking shape now. I am gonna have fun working out options for how to connect all the bits up. Lord Alessio ordered his army to build excellent earthworks to guard the bridge at Pontremola.

The crossbowmen are probably checking range to see how far out the foliage needs to be cut back, while the rest of the construction continues.

I really like that Bastian and fort coming together Padre! Looks good!

My update is expected but somewhat boring. Saturday & Sunday I spent building Indomitus stuff. Only a few guys each day, I'm slotting them in inbetween other chores.

Today I've been working on making them both into Crusader Forces to take advantage of the Narrative Rules. DeathWatch, Necrons and a third Chaos factions. My brother and I will swap around and take turns so everyone gets some battles under their belt.

Week 13
July 24th:
-Painted some more on the Foetid Bloat Drone
July 25th:
-After grabbing my 9th edition stuff early in the morning at the store I had some nice reading done in the books
July 26th:
-Made our (me and Benthe) crusade armies on paper and had loads of fun coming up with names for them
-Played our first little skirmish in 9th, with just 1 psyker and 1 troop choice unit, so we could get a hang of the new rules and to let Benthe get familiar with her Primaris Librarian
July 27th:
-Did a first draft of a 2k 9th ed list for my T'au
-Finished my 2nd Foetid Bloat Drone
-Did a little more work on the Intercessors
July 30th:
-More work done on the Intercessors

Week 14
July 31st:
-Hobbied together with Benthe most of this evening, she painted some bases of the Librarian and the 2nd squad of Intercessors while I was painting up the green layer color on the first squad of Intercessors
August 1st:
-Made use of my new Lightbox to make pictures and made up my blogpost, come to think of it I did not post pictures of the new lightbox, nor my cabinets!
August 3rd:
-More work done on the Intercessors

Sun Aug 2 - Basing a couple of minis. Then picked four villagers and a badger to paint & base. Also drybrushed the canopies of a couple of trees.

Mon Aug 3 - Finished the four villagers and the badger. Fixed some errors on a batch painted scifi group.

So that's already 15 minis done after getting back to the schedule.  :icon_cool:

This evening I worked again on mounted crossbowmen.  Boltgunned up the blackened armor, painted wood on an axe handle and a crossbow bolt being loaded, made a ribbon purple, and used some purple wash on the commander's leather armor, the latter followed by boltgun on the metal studs. And updated above. :::cheers:::

I'm still painting bronze on this bugger. There are so many parts to be done in this color and every time I think: 'Ok, that was the last part.' I see some new detail that has to be done.
Then I have to paint the white stone parts, some of the decorations,... and after al this is done, I can go on and wash the whole thing.

I've decided to turn one of the fictional panzers i'm working on into the 'ultimate' Panzer 2. Yesterday I modified the figures I needed to incorporate it into a diorama called 'Workplace safety'.
I'll see if I can finish it in 5 days

Tue Aug 4 - Finishing touches before taking photos. Realised from the original photos there were a dozen details missing, so back to add those & a new round of photos.

Game day!

Week 13

-Played a 9th ed game 2k points on the club with special 1,5 meter setup, and won with 44 points versus about 33, it was all about points denial versus the space marines
