Still not in a creative mood for constructing figures, so one more horse. However a decent night of painting armor on two of the horses for my Knights of the Aver River, as well as side leather and saddle straps on all six. Plus got in the padded armor on 5 of my Aver River Regiment crossbowmen.

Week 9:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday:
I started painting 4 new figures: 1 goblin, 1 knight, 1 cherubin & 1 tiny griphon.
I didn't find time to photograph the other finished figures, I hope to do that this evening.

Wensday 01/07
I finished some more details on the above figures and I started a Mercenary figure for Mordheim I built a long time ago. He will be the start of my new Marienburg army.

The last several days I have very much been pushing myself into the hobby room to get some thing accomplished. It hasn't been easy from a mental perspective. Some of it is tiredness after work, some of it is tiredness of gluing figures, some of it is even tiredness of covid 19 crud.

I recall this kind of thing happening during my 100 Days of painting in 2015, although obviously not tacked on by the covid crud. And I just kept pushing though it. I am getting small breakthroughs, so I know in the long run this is helping me accomplish stuff I wouldn't have done otherwise.

Day 62: Had a quick Canada Day warhammer game with my brother, that in classic faction no one actually won.

Day 63: I built three spearmen, tidied up some metal guys, and added purple to a cloak!

The last of the 12 Perry Light Cav horses was constructed. And I thought that little project would be over in a jiffy, guess not . Also painted blue on my converted Priest of Manaan. I made this back during one of the Animosity campaigns, if I recall. He has militia body (the one with the cloak) and legs and arms, a white wolf head, and a staff that I now remember hewing from a sprue frame, but it has a head and tail of a dragon, or in this case a sea monster, that has been attached to the top and the bottom respectively. Before I had just painted his flash, hair, and the staff, but now I have chosen the same blue as the Marienburg Merchant House/Matorean swordsmen unit.

Week 10 starting

Week 9
June 26th:
-Finished the Coldstar Commander (battleready)
-now starting up on taking the pictures of this past month
June 28th:
-Build the Primaris Librarian with Benthe
-Build the Foetid Bloat Drone and magnetised the weapon options also, just not to happy about the outlining of one of the plaguespitters so worked in a bit of Green Stuff to see how that will look
-Put some paint on the Primaris Intercessors
June 29th:
-More Paint on the Intercessors! Metalics and first model got some lighter green first layer done
-Primed the Librarian and the Foetid Bloat Drone
June 30th:
-Put some paint on the base and 4 colors on the foetid Bloat Drone whilst talking to RealJuan and Padre on discord

Week 10
July 3rd:
-Put some more paint on the Foetid Bloat Drone
-Added a few washes to the 10 man Fire Warriors

There had been a hold up on finishing one handgunner when I was making a unit of 12 further back. Last night nipped that baby in the bud by taking another one apart, to have a different position and give him a different arm, stealing his original arm, and giving it to the last figure to complete them both. Kind of a pain, but those 12 are now a complete unit constructed. Also put Badab black on the 5 Papal spearsmen, and so getting very close to completion of those.

Mush brain gone.
Got the astrogranite on the last 20, tyrant skull on 40 others, 5 objective markers done plus TS on 4 characters.

After a wonderful 4th of July putting a flower garden in for the lady friend and feasting on an exquisite meal of cold beet soup from a Russian recipe, salad with nuts and cheese, a salmon souffle, scrumptious French white wine, and a little bit of coffee and chocolate for desert I returned home to force myself to construct one Perry archer and put some paint on my Priest of Manaan and the sword wielding Mordheim young blood.

I have been distracted for several days now, hobby wise, by the task of putting up a Star War's RP adventure scenario on the D6 Star Wars 'RancorPit' forum.

Various models and scanned images have been used, and it takes me some time to convert and edit old text files ...

Day 67 - finished the bases for my gloomspite. This completes ‘Krasbog’s Gitz’ army of Gloomspite. When I have more energy and it doesn’t feel like someone forced a spear through my shoulder blades, I will post a pic of the complete army.

This now gives me 3 complete AoS army,s of at least 2500 pts.

The Matorean Disciples of Sigmar - Greywater Cities of Sigmar
Shivertooth’s Headbangers - Orruk Big Waagh army
Krasbog’s Gitz - Gloomspite Gitz

My Stormcast is at 2100 pts and my Duardin is at 1710 pts

So I actually bought some minis on the road to the summer cottage, and having arranged for this threw some paints and brushes into the bag. And now I'm painting!

May 1 - Test models. Sci-fi, so a little unaccustomed to the look & feel of the figures. Green & orange looks fancy. Started basecoating.

May 2 - More basecoating. Decided to try and do base colours & some highlights on 15 minis while on holidays.

May 3 - None. Rest day.

May 4 - Basecoated some assault rifles dark grey.

May 5 - Helped my daughters paint & did some orange highlights.
