Hey thanks!  Now that I think of it, I'm not sure where to even get one or what the process is.  Any ideas?

If I can get this in 1-3 months, cool, then thats one step in the direction of attending the Euro-Bash this year.  And if I recall, weren't you and the Mrs. considering this as well, Wiss?

Down here the post office can handle that.  I'd check in there.  I think there are other avenues, but that would probably be the easiest.  And we were looking into going over that way, but not for a little while now, unfortunately.  Other real life events interceded.

1) I'm sure she was close; Her hairdresser is close, and I've seen what she spent on her hairdo. That must have taken a few hours.

2) PLAY WARHAMMER !

3) Actually, it's "Schatteke", but i don't expect you to understand that.

Allright, update !

Two options :

Go to Ibis, with the best 2 person including breakfast rate. Last years' choice.

Go to "De Spiegel", where you can go the really cheap route, sleep with 3 in a room (full size beds), take care of your own breakfast (or we organise it at the club) and pay only 60€ a room (or 20€ a person when filled up).

That means nearly halving your sleeping costs.

Down side : the hotel is slightly dated.

Hmmm that frying shop around the club would be great for breakfast (yes I do eat fatty salty stuff for breakfast too) so my vote would be....I take whatever Aldaris takes.

I don't mind either one. Fatty salty stuff for breakfast is fine by me as long as there's coffee to go with it. We could take the Gnu into our room, if we can convince him to come.

Important additional info : for the really cheap rooms at "De Spiegel", shower and toilet are down the hall.

They do have rooms that include them, but those are slightly more expensive (see tab "prijzen" at their site)

Lager Deutschland ?
We grudgingly accept Brits as well. Maybe even others... send a casting vid via PM and we'll see.

Concerning the hotel: their site does mention breakfast...
EDIT: ah, I just googled what ontbijt means. Well, for 8 Euros I can get a lot of fatty, salty stuff somewhere else.

Yes, they do have it.

But it's an option, not included in the room rate, and I was trying to paint the "cheapest option" picture.

Breakfast is 8€ per person. Which, if you share a room 3 ways, is cheaper than Ibis, provided you take the "room with toilet down the hall" option.

IBIS : 69€ for two (34.5€ pp), including Breakfast. Fully equipped rooms.
SPIEGEL : 75€ for two(37.5€pp), including breakfast. Fully equipped rooms. OR 84 € for 3(28€pp), including breakfast, facilities down the hall.

Or something inbetween.

OR the cheap 60€ per room, split three ways, sleep and be out of there...

I like my 'en suite' .................
At my age wandering to the loo at regular intervals during the night can be a problem, especially after a few beers.  :engel:

What about the single room comparison?

We have a couple from Germany and at least 4 from the UK for all 4 nights - there may be a 5th

We have 2 I believe for 3 nights - Obi and Sir Bedevere

Then there's Marek for a single night

That's so far- last year we ended up with pairs for two nights and a single for 2 nights.
Three to a room might in fact help.

I suppose there is nothing to stop us using both hotels as required - they are on opposite sides of the town square I think, so close to each other.

What will be important though is people making their minds up fairly soon and committing.

Anyone else from the UK considering this needs to speak up soon too - we are hovering on 5 at the moment which is very cramped for one car, and which would probably mean two cars, so there is room for 1 or two more - we would possibly have capacity for 6 or 7 total.

It's a question of making the bookings.

Work?    :icon_question:  You do realise it is the Wedding Bank Holiday followed bty the Mayday one?

If you came we would need two cars - so eurotunnel needs booking - this is the most important I think.

The Hotel room rates are being haggled for on the basis that we will confirm bookings fairly soon.

We have one in Exeter and one near Bristol that will probably be travelling up early Friday morning, or depending on whether it is Sunday service on the Bank Holiday Friday, maybe Thursday pm /evening.

I am sure if you say you want to come, we can find a way to accomodate a TWF star.    :engel:

I would like to be added as a possible.

It would be 3 nights, friday, saturday and sunday (driving back on monday). No problem being bunked up in the 3 person room with others.
I'll see if I can make it happen with the missus :)
Will let you know soonish

Whilst 'Douche en Toilet op de gang' is probably not what I fear it could be, I'm glad to confirm I'll be in the Ibis. But as I'm only there Sat night, I went ahead and booked my own room already. Hopefully this simplifies arranging rooms for everyone else.  :smile2:

Cheer up, could be worse.

Ok talked to the missus, and you can change me to probable in stead of possible :)

The timing of the weekend is excelent and we have come to an agreement of childcare that weekend. Also w came to an agreement that the costs for the weekend are acceptable IF we have it to spend.
I do aim for the lowest of low if possible (so 20 Euro the night times 3)

Also to lower my cost a little bit more I am offering 2 seats in the car (when I can completly commit) to drive there.. (2 seats as my trunk is not so big to hoard 4 peoples bagage), asking a bit of cash for the service to aid me getting some food and drinks :)
My intention was going back on monday end afternoon / start of the evening, so still some gaming opportunities on the monday :)

I'll be driving down from Leeuwarden (The Netherlands) by freeway A6 and then A27, little detours can be made to pick ppl up! (going in one breath it would take about 3 hours to get there)
