Hey Guys,
I’m dreaming of going to the states one day. As a European I think it is really interesting to visit all the big cities in America. Obviously, we also have some big cities, but they are just not as big as the american ones, espeically when it comes to size etc. I’m kinda scared though, like, how do you pay there? I mean sure with money, but i heard they only like to pay with credit cards. I personally only pay cash to keep track of my money. I read an article about credit cards, and i feel the need to get one before flying to America: https://www.fitformoney.de/kreditkarte-usa-test/ (it’s in German but can easily translated via google translate or other tools/sites for those who are interested).

In America they take cash as well.  However, having a credit card for things like hotel and plane reservations could be good, and car rentals.  Nowadays using a debit card is also ok, these get attached to a bank account and a person can use the card like cash with it coming directly from your account, sort of like a check except it is just based off of using the number on the debit card being associated with the bank account number.

I do enjoy this thread a lot. It would look even better if you put the images instead of the links, and dont worry. You dont have to upload, just right-click on the image copy image link and paste it between the forums

This comes from one of the guys who is producing videos for the current volcano in Iceland, and in this video he shows the views from the summit of Eldfell, in English called Fiery Mountain, which is a former volcano in Iceland ...
