Probably a new militia-box, hopefully we get militia with great weapon and militia with pistols! New stateroopers and knights would also be good!

I expect more barefoot soldiers and ugly men in rugs instead of uniforms - like that bear mascot thing.
But I don't like that.
Barefoot Knights maybe?

Definately new knights, that plastic barded horse is now I think the oldest plastic component that GW still produces that isn't a base of some kind. It dates from certainly the early 90's possibly even earlier.

A mounted wizard would be good, I'm surprised they didn't do a mounted-unmounted combo in the first instance. If they do produce a plastic mounted wizard though, I've be very surprised and very disapointed if the bits for it weren't tailored to make wizards from the lores that are missing from the existing foot one, for some reason I can only think of Life and Beasts, but I'm sure there's a third missing...

I can't see them redoing the mortar-cannon set any time soon, nor the militia box set. The only exception to that might be if they introduce a new unit type and can include that as an option in the plastic kit.

A plastic War Altar, maybe War Wagon or whatever combo kit is a probability, that's big enough to tie in with a new book though.

Above all else though, we had a load of new stuff come out pretty recently, so I would be very surprised if we got a load of new stuff any time soon, let alone a new book. Saying that though, O&G's just got a load of new stuff, and the rumour mill is indicating that they're due for a new book pretty soon...

There were only little changes from battle master horses. So I'd say that the basic design is from the 80s

Remake the Griffon...

I don't like the cartoony look of the current one... the old version was a wonderful piece... but it needed to be bigger....

something that doesn't cause me to buy the Island of Blood set just because it has the Griffon on it...

I think/hope that we will get:

A new knight box with five knights and finaly new horses.
The options for hammers or other form of great weapons in the box as well as updated White Wolf/other orders sprues, possibly mail order only.

A new plastic War Altar with the new horses.

A new Luthor Huss. Perhaps a plastic box with a Warrior Priest on fot and one mounted like the general box.

A mounted metall wizard.

A new Karl Franz on a dragon or in a griffon kit where one can make a "normal" general of him instead.

A plastic Pegasus rider that can be either a Wizard Lord or a Captain.

A new militia box with 16 troops.

Mounted Wizards...

I'm sure the 4 people who use mounted wizards will convert their own or get ahold of the OOP ones from older editions.  :biggriin:

A new militia box with 16 troops.

Why is it important there are less in there?

It is not important with less modells, I would just like a new militia box and fewer modells per box seems to be the way GW is going. It seems only goblins, skavens and so on gets boxes of 20 modells today.

What I would really like to see with the new models is the horses be sculpted to look realistic in comparison to a person  I mean the current version of most of the horses has all the riders look like they are riding Clydesdales.  Maybe have those ones pulling the war altar or something, but serious.

I would like to see a plastic model for a mounted warrior priest.  Maybe make a box set like the general / bsb box except for 2 warrior priests and can make one mounted and one on foot.

I would also like to see the plastic reiksguard knights on foot.

Yes, a new Karl Franz miniature would be good too.

Also is there currently all the different elector counts available?

I agree that some witch hunter models would be very cool too.

I think we will get a unit of Winged Two-Tailed Powder Monkeys with spears. They will have an option to upgrade to halberds.

I put together a Rocket battery the other day and wanted to use the head that was holding his hands over his ears on an old running running torso from the Free Company box I found in my bit box (As a flee marker), but the arms could not fit over the torso's shoulders. It was no problem to fit the arms on a state troopers body so it seems that the size of the Empire modells has become slender. Would that suggest that the Militia box is next in line to be replaced?

Definately I would like to see some new knights!

Also Reiksguard Foot Knights would be amazing.

I don't think we need Ogres, just use the Rare OOP Marauder Ogres from the late 1980's, they are incredible, but a little expensive on e bay , I spent £170 on 6 , lol.

I don't like the Empire Lord plastic set, the model looks a bit cartoonish, there is something not quite right, so a new Lord pack would be good.

They need to sort out the latest state troops, there is something not right about them, all the gubbins they ahve hanging from their waist lines.

I recon they need to release state troops from different Empire regions.

New Kislev plastic troops, new Marienberg plastic troops, Middenlend, Nordland, etc

Bring out 6 different box sets of state troops!

WHat about an Empire Dragon carrying a Wizard??

Ask yourself , what is real? 5 sense filtered reality is a very limited perspective.

New Knights are a must really. The barded warhorses look like ponies compared to newer releases.

Don't do that. It's cast in such a way that converting it to Empire would be a very difficult job, frustrating and dangerous for your fingertips (sharp knife craziness).

No, that means they need to redo everyone elses knights...Empire knights get any bigger and they will have to go on monster bases, they dont rank up as it is.
We go to gain a little patch of ground that hath in it no profit but the name.

Odd that no one mentioned the demigryph riders that is described over and over again in the new 8th ed. book.

My guess is that it will be heavy shock cavalry and as rare as the new giant spiders for O&G.

That is due to poor design, not size.  Brets have bigger horses and there rank up just fine.

Gw should make at least two different normal riders and at least a separete champion model. Seeing 5 of those in a unit....would be a spectacle indeed.
One of the big wigs... once told them "If a household doesn't have an income of $70,000, we don't consider them a GW target customer."
