Project Talabecland Update 30/12/23 Cavalry Champion done
« on: April 05, 2023, 08:13:20 PM »
Hi everyone,

I hope you are all keeping well and loyal to Sigmar.

As I usually don't have time to paint for myself, I was looking forward to starting this project.

Here is my first picture of my new Talabecland army that I have just started painting. These are the first 2 minis, a humble sworman and unit champion.

I hope you like what you see.

C&Cs welcome.

That non metallic metal is fantastic.
I choose too keep "Old Warhammer" alive with my blood sweat and tears.

It's bad that warhammer might die but it would be a tragedy if it stays dead!

Don't tell Dwi we agree on something. :icon_wink:

Good use of the faces for some quality painting that brings out their expressions. :icon_cool: :eusa_clap:

I like how the green on top of the one contrasts with the rest, and the feather being maybe in white might do the same thing on the other.

I believe NMM definitely gives a different dimension to fantasy minis.

Thanks for your comment and feedback, much appreciated.

I prefer to maintain the red colour on the feathers as white on top would dillute the overall Talabecland colour scheme a bit when the unit is finished, but it's just my opinion. :)

Aaand the army keeps growing.

Swordmen: First line done.

I'll have to think about what goes next, as painting a few samples of different units. I'll do the freehand on the banner/standard in the near future.

C&Cs welcome.

Love the NMM!

You have me wanting to paint my Empire minis, but I shall not be distracted.
