Thanks ! The head is from greatswords sprue, right?
I'll try not to copy your style... I'll try to model a different kind of breastplate and neckguard/ or even chain shirt...

EDIT : I forgot to say this : Everything, absolutely everything looks great... Especially those greatswords and the warrior priest...

Thanks man! I haven't added anything to this army for ages and I doubt I will in the near future. Maybe some pistoliers and a rocket battery or two though.... And of course I could increase the unit size of my flaggies and state troops... And the new knights are hopefully due out at some point.....

How do you paint white parts and which color do you use?

They look soooo good...

Bloody hell, I wasn't expecting this old thread to come back to life!

Its just a basecoat of Astronomican Grey over a black undercoat, highlighted with Astronmoican/Skull White and then pure Skull White.

Thanks very much. The army is dead and done now, not adding more to it. I am planning to do another Empire army (probably hailing from Wurtbad) at some point, I've got a lot of commission stuff to finish first though.

Well I do that too... But I always get an uneven surface...

Really thin coats, I dont know what else to suggest... If its coming out uneven you probably just need to thin the paint more.

Thanks, I'll try that ...

Sorry I cant be any more help, its just trial and error I guess. The most important thing with painting white is definitely getting the consistency of the paint right though.
