Hi all! :)
I sculpt and paint 28mm minis for warhammer and mordheim. I like the Empire and my minis for the most part are landsknechts and girls. Maybe somebody is intereting in, welcome!

keeping cool in the summer heat, besides pants get in the way of pike drill. My story and i'm sticking to it, dammit. Having worn landesknecht garb I can relate to the no pant's/ short pants version for pikemen.

Although I admit I find the female nudity a little needless/excessive. (as amazingly executed as it is) I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable painting something like that, especially if the lady was around. :icon_eek:

Perhaps its the angle, but I don't think the hat is a good addition. I like it much better without the hat. Right now it's sitting way too high on his head and looks unnatural.

mr chumley warner, good work and accuracy painting! You are absolutely right about hat, you need whittle away a part of his head to set a hat correctly.. I sculpt him whole head for more potential for conversions.
Your painting is good, I'll plan to paint him in blue gamma too.

However, The 8th Edition Warhammer Rules, now seem to have every empire player using more Halberds, :)
If you could make some resin Halberd's in simple poses, I would buy 30 immediately!
I think you would sell them like hot potatoes.

I wouldn't forget Swordsman (Ws4 deflect 6) and Spearman (additional rank for fight) option with maybe little Shadow Magic (unit gets St=Ld) think about that or some nice Pike :unsure:

there are only two types of dissapeared models:
1. х-com based figures - because of copyright law
2. some figures that I sculpted for Wicked project. I just retailed it but now I decide to stop it.
other my models are aviable and I hope to glad you with something new in the nearest future!

The couple I have joined were not that nudey- Oathsworn's Sensible Shoes, and Westfalia's Northern Mercenaries.
The other one I was aware was the Sisters of Serens - the Mordheim Sigmarites rip-off copy which is very busty and with lots of flesh, but I think actually represents all that phoney religious repression quite well .....................
I can understand it if the figures were Amazons in a hot climate, or Barbarians in skimpy furs, but if you look at this ones equipment ................

I'm becoming more and more bothered by this sort of juvenile pandering as I age. I understand that I play a game where I push tiny plastic and metal men and women across a table while I pretend they fight, so it shouldn't bother me, but it does. I just want cool looking badass chicks like that viking gal with the banner, and instead it's an "elf" with tits and ass in the wind swinging a sword and shield in high heels, but she's got her bracers and greaves on so I guess she's protected. I must say that I find Vinni's models strangely respectable. His female models either put their assets on full display entirely honestly about what they are, or they wear female armour that's actually sensible. None of the usual sexy armour nonsense.

t might be a good idea to make variants of Sigmar's sisters for Mordheim. The original ones are dear and other houses I took are out of proportion and scale. Just because he likes sculpting (and getting paid for) nudes doesn’t mean he has issues with women. If you don’t like all the nudes, ignore them or don’t read the thread. There must be a market for it, otherwise he wouldn’t sculpt them.

Remember Macho Women with Guns? And the 'frontloaded' special attribute. You got a minus because of the unbalance and hazards of having two balloons on your chest... Although in some situations it could be a bonus...
Also, soldiers armored in the manner of the two-handed swordsmen historically never carried two-handed swords.
But I love the Varangians! Might be the best 'late' Varangians I've seen.

Horrors that hide in the depths are nightmares to some and sweet, enticing dreams to others. Since times immemorial, the Cult has been worshipping an ancient eldritch creature, known only as the Void Dreamer, whose tentacled, writhing form dwells below the deepest caves and dungeons. The Void Dreamer is consumed by permament hunger, but not the one for flesh or blood - instead, it feeds on emotions and fantasies. Agony and pain cannot sustain its perverse and inventive mind, thus the sacrifices made to the Void Dreamer are those of pleasure...
The priests of the Cult have constructed a special sort of altar over the well leading to the Void Dreamer's lair. Bound and spread, the helpless victim is consumed by the wildest fears and hopes as the tentacled mass surges toward her from the depths, but once the tendrils reach her, a dance of lust and ecstasy begins. Well aware of all the weaknesses of the human mind and body alike, the Void Dreamer enjoys toying with its "bride" for hours, feasting on her pleasure as well as lingering sense of disgust and shame. Finally, it retreats to the depths, leaving the victim exhausted but oddly content and satiated.
The Void Dreamer's "brides" then act as oracles, through whom it speaks to the Cult. And while most of them come from the ranks of slaves or captives, sometimes, noble-born and wealthy ladies also seek the Void Dreamer's embrace, knowing all pleasures pale before this sensation.
