I currently have a hangover bad enough that I was sent home sick from work. The only saving grace being that they think it's the flu, so they probably won't fire me for it.

Got a call from mum while at work yesterday turns out my dad had to be rushed to hospital after seeing the doctor yesterday morning.

Turns out it's not overly serious he has cellulitis running all up his leg but they didn't want the infection spreading to his bloodstream so he gets to spend the week at hospital on some form of uber antibiotics plus injections to thin his blood from some big as needle into the stomach!

Course the 39 degree fever is still a cause for concern.

Edit:

So dad can't really walk at the moment due to the pain and circulation etc. So he's got a walking frame to help him get around so he's been walking around in his hospital robes going "boys don't forget your newspapers" like from family guy. Lol now he's doing his fat bastard impression...

My miners got stuck in the mountains and crushed when I played the 'hold the pass' scenario against Fandir yesterday.

I am quite sure he will request a name change today ... 'The triumphator' or something similar ...

Yes....dwarves suck when fighting in the mountains. But on open field they run around faster than elves. Tolkien got it right they are sprinters deadly over short running distances....especially when there is beer to loot.

Yes and the dwarves can be fast as hell is in "the Hobbit" too....after that movie dwarves will be laughed at...everywhere.
