A good friend of mine recently got married/pregnant. This isn't a bad thing, but it makes me feel like I'm in a time-crunch. That I need to find "the one" ASAP because I'm at an age(28) where people are marrying/permanently shacking up. What if the perfect girl for me is getting married to someone else as I type this?
As long as I'm complaining about matters of the heart, why am I a magnet for religious/prudish girls?
For every story where someone finds "the one". There are 10 more stories of "I wish I hadn't gotten married so soon"
For me, I love my wife (some days more than others, and we have been married for 8 years) I was 29 when we got married, and there are many days when I look back and wish we hadn't. (No freedom for example)
Just hang in there, I know it sucks when all your friends are married, and you are just sitting there wondering when/if it will happen to you. But the bottom line is, just go out and have fun.
As far as the religous/prudish girls...I can't help you out too much, except, don't look for dates in churches or libraries.
Seriously, the religous/ prudish girls are the ones that "you want to take to meet the parents" and usually are high maitanance after marriage. I find the more liberal girls with some good morals are the ones that are the most attractive...
