Maybe. What i'm doing is insanely specialised. but probably has quite a lot of transferable skills. I just wont have experience of anything else.

You will gain that once you start....you also don´t have to leave but it is always to check once in a while at other opportunities and see what you could earn there...if you have some options you can go to your boss and say......well I have a better offer what are you suggestion that I stay?

I was excited to go to Germany because I could legally drink. I get here and we are under orders not to leave post, drink or fraternize. It did however rain for 8 days while I was In the field so the trip hasn't been completely "dry".
