Really like the frills on the edges of the banner, really great paint job as it looks like cloth and looks like it has movement in it.

Is the banner card/plastic?

These Tilean Xbow Models are really quite nice, especially the guy in the FPA!

Ah, those are the plug-in hand type guys, right?  I have a bunch of those, just they have halberds instead of xbows...

I wanted to create some unique Xbow models, so I had to use Mannan's Blade Torso's and Heads

Fantasic idea for the crossbowmen. How well do the xbow arms fit/join the torsos?

Not totally surprising seeing as the pics of the Halberdiers on the FW site look a bit cack.
Still I really like your idea, consider it stolen. :icon_razz:

I have a guest room you can use for a week or 2... my army would be completly painted in that time with your speed....

And at a very good level at that!

Honest ..

The Armour is pre mixed in a pot , with vermin brown.

Once the undercoat and bases are done, then you paint every model at once,.

undercoat is army painter grey, then wash heavy black and brown...

Basecoats: so Tallarn flesh each man, then armour on each man, then blue cloth, then browns, then orange, then wash all of them, use hair dryer at every stage to dry,

wash again,

highlight is simple also

job done

I've decided , I need to paint lots of Xbows.

I just want to be able to pull out 50 Xbows, and create a dirty gun line , with 30'' range, so that I can start poundig the enemy from turn 1.

Nice run-down - how many layers do you highlight?  Is it normally just a mix of the color plus white/off white?

I think I shall have to try a grey undercoat - I mostly use black nowadays.
