ive got a ....desktop pc with 42'' monitor.....

That's not a monitor, that's a TV! And bigger than the 40" one in my living room. It's a couple of meters away from where you're sitting I hope?

Hi Sir,

I don't know the stratford club?

Is that a wargames club?

To be honest I had a 20 year break from warhammer , and got back into painting 3 years ago to give me something for my brain to feed on other than work!

It spiralled randomly into gaming and this PLOG..

I literally only bought some EMpire Knights 3 years back, and had no pre conceptions about warhammer , as I had only played 40K back when i was very young.

I came back from a break in the hobby too last year after 7 years out so know what you're going through with getting into it and it taking over a bit ;)

There's a wargames club in Stratford (or at least used to be unless they've all been absorbed by the other local clubs), one in Redditch, Evesham, Worcester, Cheltenham... loads in the area ;)

The palette you've chosen is stunning. Subtle and realistic. That, and the fact that these are my all-time favourite Empire figs (it was the 2nd boxed set I ever bought) means I'll use your scheme for my own Heroic fighters- when I get around to painting them, that is.

Angry Pegasus is Angry. By far my favourite pegasus model. I have 4 at present and may feel a need to get more.

1. The size of his codpiece
2. The amount of skulls he carries
3. The length of his feather

Oh lordy lordy lord, you certainly do these amazing sculpts justice with brilliant paint jobs.

Incidentally, I am fortunate enough to be in possession of the handcannon ogre from the original WD ad, painted by Mike McVey- my little claim to fame:

I'm using a new painting technique,

instead of the hair dryer, i have a portable heater radiator in my office, which when you sit the mini on, it really gives and even depth to washes , drying them fast but evenly
