The Green and Red Foot.
The Green and Red Foot regiment was the first regiment in the Mercenary Company of the the Order of the Black Shield. It was gathered by a wizard called Mortus whose last name was unknown and who had a tendency for flinging magic missiles. Its original purpose was to serve as her bodyguard but over the years it grew in size, skill and discipline until it could be considered a proper professional regiment of its own right. The Green and Red Foot breaks down into two regiments. The Green and Red Thrusting spears and the Green and Red Halberds. Normally the second regiment is broken up into companies to support the first but it is not an uncommon sight on battlefields of the Old World to see the complete Green and Red Halberd regiment deployed with both the parent block and the detachments armed with Halberds.

Nobody is quite sure, and Mortus never states, why the banner of the Order of the Black Shield is a red shooting star on a blue background

The eagle eyed among you will have noticed that at least one of the hats needs to be fixed.
The Green and Red Horse.
The Green and Red Horse are a new edition to the company. Following a successful contract a suggestion was made which they should expand by including some heavy cav. The Old Green Horse was replaced with the Green and Red Horse.
