That new Foundry knights kit
« on: March 06, 2012, 07:58:19 PM »
Hi guys.

I have been keeping an eye on these and have just seen a pic on Beasts that I had not seen before of them.  They look pretty good to be honest...

 Sorry if covered eleswere.

Also noted this dude with his 'its not a Long Rifle, honest' gun.

Very nice.

They do look nice.  Do you have any of their line in miniatures?  I'd be interested to know if they are 28mm or 30mm, as some models claim to be 28mm and are not actually 28mm.  If memory is correct, I think Warhammer is more 30mm and the LotR is actual 28mm.  Not sure though.

In short, do you have any of the Foundry kits/models?  If so, how do they look next to GW models (size, detail, etc.).

It's not a Foundry product - Fireforge are a new Italian company.

The Templar Knights and Mounted Sergeants seem to be new boxes  - the Teutonic Knights have been discussed in the Counts Tavern in the "Other Manufacturers" thread, where non GW stuff is supposed to be evaluated - not here in the EF.
