I like the looks of how those great swordsmen came out.  :icon_cool: :eusa_clap:

The short one, maybe a halfling?  I think using a different hat and a militia two-handed sword helps set him away from the others yet he seems to fit in well, too.

Really characterful conversions as always. The halfling looks neat but the hands look maybe a touch too big? Hard to tell as GW style always has the hands bigger than they should be.

Thanks for the reply guy's,

One of the great swords is indeed a Mootlander (aka Halfling) he will be included in the unit but fluff wise he isn't a member of the Essen Great swords (have to find a cooler name)

The old militia hands are a bit to large indeed Dante, I don't really mind; big feet big hands is what I think.  Although I must admit with the other halfing I tried with smaller hands are better

hello again,

I did some more work on the empire stuff so wanted to keep you guy's posted;

I made him using the goblin body as always;  militia head; great sword and outrider arm's and some gunner bits and a little greenstuff here and there.

the head looks ok in person, but on pic the paint looks to thick

I'm satisfied with the result as I'm not doing this to win great prices or something like that, but just to keep it going and to keep practising.

C&C welcome as ever.

Nice work again mate.

Something about the head looks a bit off. It's not really drawing attention as it's a little dull and messy so the eye is drawn to the red chest which is nicely transitioned from light to dark.

I think that could use a bit if freehand design or a different colour from black. I'd also suggest adding some spot colour or design to the feather. Even just a stripe of contrast colour.

Is the nose a bit bigger than usual? Seems to be dominating the face a bit, therefore I'd suggest some ruddy tones added to draw the eye.

These suggestions are only to point things out that would take it that extra mile. Not intended as criticism as such.

Keep up the good work and the creative figures.

Cheers,

Dante

Looks nice ! Good job !

You could just make holes in gun barrels and paint them black... But that's just a minor detail ...

@ dante; thnx for the help, I didn't risk the free hand, but you are 100 right.
As for the nose, it is bigger than usual; I thought the original nose to small, in the previous model I did the bandit cap; but it didn't realy fit the theme this time; so Green stuff to the rescue.  In short I need a lot of practice sculpting noses  :biggriin:
