Wanted: Halfling miniatures still in production
« on: September 04, 2009, 09:43:10 AM »
Some time ago I stumbled over pictures of halflings with spears in pesants clothing.
They are apparently still in production, albeit not by GW. Around 10 different halflings in total i seem to remember.
I belive the company is a UK based one, and also produce the Halfling Elvis, Halfling Napoleon and 2 other gimmic miniatures.
I hope you guys can help me. Cheers =)

I like the Napoelon. The Elvis is rubbish though. Considering i'm about to start a halfling campaign I'd of liked them to be a bit cooler.

They look nice in a basic sort of way. The pirate orcs from the same range are great though.

Those don't match at all with any warhammer halflings, or the one referred to in the first post of the thread.

Their anatomy is quite different (more realistic, probably).

Black hat miniatures:

I really like the spearmen, but how do they expect to sell the command group with "Elvis" as part of the mix?  I rolled my eyes at that one.

Yes, I'm not a fan of Elvis-Halfling either. But I suppose some people might like it.

Perhaps I'm over reacting.

Thanks alot guys, that was exactly the ones I was looking for.

Mirliton is interesting too, that Half-man mounted paladin is pretty cool. Tiny brettonian knight =)

GW's LOTR halflings, excellent models.
I agree with the inhumane treatment of animals.

I think a lot of its problems are a bad paintjob too
