Empire General sprue
« on: April 17, 2010, 10:32:08 PM »
Hello there!

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, but I was wondering if anyone could put up some pictures of the plastic Empire General sprues. I'm curious to see what head/weapon options it includes especially.

I won't put up the pictures, but I will tell you to buy it. It is awesome, and well worth the relatively small price tag.

If you want more detailed pics, you can check bits selling sites such as Bitz Barn.

I have mixed feelings about the Empire general kit. Apart from serious scale issues, the bits are mostly ok. However, I don't think there is any combination of bits that make a good looking model.

So does that banner thing with the skeleton and hammer gets stuck on top of the lance, if one is looking to make a BSB out of this?

Unless you had somewhere else to put it on the model...

Funny. Rick Priestley always imagined 1 model to equate around 5 men, but then again, they were just a bunch of hippies, so he was probably too stoned to notice ;)

There is actually a separate banner pole for the crazy angel winged skeleton banner, but I must admit theimage of ramming the lance into a flying skeleton's petard to create a standard just sounds too funny to ignore.
