Until next Monday, I have a copy of the Skaven Army Book (German version). If anyone has a question regarding Skaven, I will be happy to (try and) answer.
-
Are you just now getting it? I've had mine for over a month.
-
No, I borrowed it from my nephew, but I am only allowed to keep it until Monday. I just thought others might have some questions, without wanting or being able to buy the book. By the way, I am really looking forward to your analysis.

We need to confirm the alleged differences between the German and English one if we can...can anyone get that ball rolling for us?
-
Well, fore one, in the German version the logical "single use only" for the Stormbanner is specifically mentioned.
-
hey does the warp lighting cannon have a special damage thingy against the steam tank still??
-
The WLC is now fired like a canon but with the following differences.
The second artillery dice not only indicates the bounce but also its strength. At the final impact, you place the 3" template. All models touched by the template, as well as all models on the line bounce - final impact are hit with the rolled strength.
No armour saves are allowed and each hit causes 6D wounds.
So it still can have a crippling effect on the Stank. But do not forget the Orb of Brass: if hit (initiative test), the Stank is gone.
To be complete: the WLC cannot fire shrapnel. If forced to flee (for whatever reason), it is automatically destroyed. Crew and canon are considered one model. Against ranged attacks (including magic) it uses the toughness of the canon (i.e. 6), in close combat the toughness of the crew (i.e. 3). The combined model has 4 W.

It actually says if the crew if forced to flee. That means it doesn't have to autoflee anymore.
