Don't forget "Optimus Skywalker" leader of the Jedibot Stormhost.  :-P

*edit* Only kidding.  I will be calling my own Celestant Prime that, since it sort of fits the naming convention of the others.  And I'm not trying to detract from SKS's efforts.  It's nice to have a Dramatis Personae, so we can perhaps use it to build our fluff to fit in.

I for one really appreciate the list. I was looking for this information just earlier today.

Just worked through the Startebox book and the first Might Battles book, still need to verify the stuff from the 1st Realmgate Wars book.
I don't have the novels, so those won't be added unless someone else wishes to pitch in for those.

Really appreciate this list. :::cheers:::

Annoying as it is, 1d4chan is a good source of up-to-date fluff.

http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Warhammer:_Age_of_Sigmar

So these might be added on to the list.

Order: The Lady of Vines

Death: Arkhan,  Neferata, Mannfred, the silver maiden
"No battle is ever meaningless for all life is merely death post-poned"
-elector count of the Empire.

For chaos, the armies are now called Khorne Bloodbound, and Nurgle Rotbringers.
Order have the Sylvaneth as well.

Would it be worth using some of the warscroll batallion names

Or are you just after named characters, rather than summarising fluff in general?

Will update army names with those and Sylvaneth are prominent in the Realmgate Wars book which I will dig through soon.

Think it will be a step to far to also pick up batallion scroll names.
Named characters and sections of armies only indeed.

To update (from WD84)
New Stormhost names: Knights Excelsior (with heraldry of the sun haloed by a moon); Celestial Warbringers (2nd stormhost of the 2nd striking, with Heraldry of the twin tiled comet), also from the 2nd striking: Lightning Hawks, Fists of Sigmarite and Radiant Suns of Sigmar. (p 8-9)

New Stormhost names: Blades of Dawn; Sons of Mallus (p28)

Also the new battletome will explain how the hosts are made up nd how the chambers are comprised of with new Battalion Warscrolls (example given: Harbinger Chamber = 1 Lords of the Storm + 3 Vanguard Wings Battallion scrolls)

Not sure what to do with historical names given in the books, characters that most likely can't come back.

I'll note some here:

Sigmar that fought greater Deamons from the Tetrarchs of Ruin: An'ggrath (Khorne), Feculox (great unclean one), Kaithanus (Lord of Change), Luxcious the Keeper (Ur-Slaanesh)

Gluhak, The Crusted Blade (Beastlord, the one that Dirgehorn came into existance)

Argentine, The Silver Wyrm

Good job on the Seraphon. You're initiative on all these lists is really inspiring.  :smile2:

(It takes me hours just to dredge up enough focus to talk on the forums)

Here's a question, since Balthazar Gelt died in the End Times what happened to the wind of metal?

Not sure what you mean.. But Balthazar Gelt isn't the wind of Metal, he only used it and was the best in it from the race of men.
In the new setting there is a realm for every magic wind, so there is one for Metal and there was already part of a campaign there (to retrieve the Hammer of Sigmar)

Ah, okay, I thought that the setting needed a god for each realm like how Sigmar is the ruler of the heavens and Tyrion controls the light.

Thanks for clearing that up. :smile2:

I know it isn't confirmed but wouldn't Aurgos Trueforged's chamber be called the Trueforged? This seems to be the case for all the others.

Most probably yes, but it isn't mentioned yet, so hence why I haven't noted it
