Nope, no losers bracket.  Sorry!

Here is the final action for the Empire:

Rior the 2nd versus EC.Sylvania

Cheers and huzahs errupted from the crowd in the bowl shaped arena as the contestants for the final round emerged into the arena on horseback.  On one side was the proud Elector Count of Sylvania, clad in full plate and wielding a fearsome Runefang.  The crowd gasped at the site of the powerful weapon as he trotted to his starting postion.  On the other side of the field was a mighty Grand Master, a knight of immense power.  As he shut the visor of his helmet, he had his horse go up to the starting position.  As he waited for his signal, he pointed his magical sword at the Count.  When the wizard fired off a magical flare into the air, the two charged in on thier horse.  The count stopped for a moment and took his handgun off of the saddle and fired off a shot.  It hit Rior square in the chest, but the bullet simply bounced off of his armor.  Shaken but not stired, Rior continued to close in on the Count.  EC reared his horse into high gear, and drew up his Runesword.

Rior's lance found some luck, and pierced a joint gap in the count's armor.  It wedged deep into his thigh before breaking off.  Screaming at the pain, the Count brought his Runefang down on Rior's shield arm.  The magical sword caused a deep wound, and Rior's shield dangled from the now mangled arm.  Wheeling around quickly, Rior drew his sword and closed in on the Elector, who assumed he had some time to get the lance tip out of his thigh.  Rior drew his sword of fate high over his head, and found home at the Elector's back.  He stabbed deep, and the noble of Sylvania fell limp.

So when are the finals for Conclave of Light, and is there anything that I need to do in the time being?

This was Rior's semi-final round match:

The other two warriors stepped into the arena. On one side was a splendily decorated knight, a Grand Master who bore not a lance but rather a sword inlaid with magical powers. On the other side of the arena was his opponent, someone much shorter in stature. Ric Largeaxe was copmletly adorned in his armor, and runes glowed brightly as battle neared. With the signal from the Asur archamge, the battle began. Ric drew a handgun and began to pepper Rior with dwarfen bullets. None of them had any affect however, as any of the shots that did hit simply bounced off of his full plate. Rior was confident he would get the first hit off of the charge, but Ric unleashed a burst of speed and attacked at the man ontop of his steed. Runes glowed on the dwarf's axe as he made the swift attacks. Most of them penetrated the humans martial skill, but none of them could penetrate the well made armor of the grand master. Rior fought back and even with his magically powerful Sword of Fate, he did not manage to wound Ric. Rior had not faced an opponent of this caliber in some time, and was attmepting to adjust to the different fighting style. Finally as the two warriors fought back and forth, Rior found a weak spot in Ric's defenses and stabbed. His sword cut through armor like butter, and Ric winced at the wound.

However, Dwarfs are hardy creatures, and Ric shimply shurgged off the bleeeding wound. Fighting back with his magical axe, he let loose a fury of hits, finally one finding a gap in the armor around the ribs. Rior bit back a shout and played defense until Ric tired out of his assault. Responding in kind, Rior used his magical sword and cut through Ric's armor one more time. Now barely able to fight, Ric relied mostly on the strenght of his runes to keep him going. He slashed in a great arc at Rior's shield arm. The armor held, but the blow was too strong from the arm inside. Rior's shield arm went limp and Ric quietly cherished the small victory. Both of the combatants were getting very fatigued from their wounds and the battle in general. However could strike next would most likely walk away with the victory. Rearing up on his horse, Rior attempted to back away from the battle crazed Dwarf lord. Feeling he had the open shot, Ric lunged at the knight with his axe. However, he miscalculated and dove straight into the ground instead of into the horse and the knight. Seeing his opportunity, Rior drove his sword deep into the calf of Ric's right leg. Howling with pain, Ric was unable to walk.

The dwarfs in the stand demanded medical attention - there was no point in killing Ric. Wiht the presenation of a dozen axes to the archmages in a not-so-friendly manner, the High Elves were inclined to agree. Priestesses of Isha rushed out to tend the wounds of the dwarf while the Empire crowd cheered for their champion. The Dwarf finally stood off, yelling and cursing for his loss. In a fury, he shoved away the medics and drew a smaller hand axe. With much inprecision, he hacked off his bread. The whole crowd was in shock. "Know this Rior, I will be back. By Grungi, I shall slay you for my loss." He had taken the Slayer vow.

The Final Round of the Arena of Death

The crowd was abuzz as the archmage serving as announcer walked out to the middle of the arena. With the flick of a wrist, a magical spell enveloped his head, causing his voice to boom. "Ladies and gentlement, lizards, and dwarfs, elves and humans. We bring to you, the final round of this tournament. Thirty two contestants from four different races hacked and slahed their way to this final round. Now I present to you - the two remaining fighters."

Pointing to the west gate entrance, he conitnued, "From the nation known as the Empire, hailing as the greatest country of men, is the mightiest Grand Templar alive. Rior the 2nd, champion of the Empire, champion over Ric Largeaxe, the now slayer lord!" With that Rior entered atop his barded hoarse, brandishing his very feared weapon. Boos enveloped the cheers by the humans - the home support of the Asur and the disdain of the dwarves quickly silence the human support."

"Hailing from our fair isle of Ulthuan, from the province of Caledor, High Prince Regulus Pendragon, swordmaster of the white tower." Regulus entered on no horse, but walked in with his mighty great sword resting on his shoulder. Cheers flooded the stadium as the high elves showed their support for their champion. The archmage raised his hand, "Begin on my mark." The stadium drew silent. As the mage dropped his arm, he turned ethereal and vanished from the arena. Rior charged in on his horse, and Regulus began to run at full speed. Tension increased with each passing inch, and finally Rior had overtaken Regulus. With a mighty assault the melee started. As Regulus paried the first move, the Sword of Fate that Rior wielded turned bright blue, and upon the next contact cleaved straight through Regulus sword. The mighty of the blow was so much that it continued on, piercing Regulus' Armor of the Gods and destroying it too. Regulus was wide eyed as Rior laughed, "Foolish Elf, the time of Man is now." And with that, he stabbed his blade over and over into Regulus, the wounds magically increasing in size after the hit. The mighty swordmaster collapsed to the ground.

As the Priestesses treated Regulus' wounds, Rior stood triumphant. Nothing could stop the cheers of the human onlookers now. The archmage who had introduced them reappeared from his ethereal state. It was no ordinary archmage, but Teclis. He turned to Rior, "It is great to see that the race of men can produce such warriors. It is that reason that I crown you Champion of the Conclave of Light. May you and your knights slay many of the foul chaos minions."
