!!!!!! £1000 !!!!!

Mate i simply can't believe you spent this and then cut the slotta TAB off!  :eusa_wall: :biggriin:

Your painting is another level to mine,

I think maybe i could achieve something close to yours, but i would need to take 3+ hours per model , not 1hour or less LOL

Giant is at £615 with 6 days.

Albrecht £200+ also... I recon Albrecht will hit £3000. He's rarer arguably than Nuln Spearman .

He featured in White Dwarf 95 once, but never made production approved status.
I think I paid mine around 1000 pounds. To be honest, I don't think the model is worth this amount of money :( Resulting paint job at the center of the picture. He's half hidden by his shield!

That painting of him, surely it is of him well before he became a famous Border Prince mercenary commander.  I mean just look at that shield, early Bretonnian at best. Although I see he's got at least two mercenary buddies already working along side of him, one even seeming to look at him for leadership there.  Although maybe not, for the other one with the hat seems to be saying, "Woah, the three of us taking them on, you can't be serious Albrecht." :icon_wink:

Agreed. It's a stupid amount of money :( And be happy, the slotta tab is still here on this one :)
I bought it a couple of years ago, when a former employee of GW sold a few rarities, like the Nuln spearman or the Guard Captain. This is when I also bought the Marauder spearman you've just acquired.

The giant went for just over 1400 pounds.  Albrecht went for 351.

HOW MUCH for the giant? What condition was it in? That seems a ridiculous sum

The Giant went for 1401 pounds.  That certainly doesn't seem worth it to me.  Although I understand how some might decide to buy it.

Put it this way - I've got one of those giants, complete and boxed, and I paid a fraction of that for it. Hell, I turned down the chance of an Imperial Chicken Dragon for waaaaaaay less than that.

Whats the Imperial Chicken Dragon??

The problem is , as OOP Metal models get older, and rarer , the costs are going bonkers

Yep, he looks more like what I'd expect from the Hellenic League of the Border Princes.

Guys , anyone holding a spare war wagon?

Happy to pay £50 + give you my War Altar , fully painted, which includes an Avatars of War Prelate, and 2 Generals GW Horses, plus the metal War Wagon from GW, and other bits, all painted on a resin tiled base.
