Love the rich colors on Volkmar! Especially the swarthy skin+black eyebrows. Perfect look to him.

Just bought 20 oop old edition plastic halberds, 6 pistoliers, oop metal, my god they are nice, and 4 oop 80's knights

now for some purple and yellow , 100 Halberds more!

its a great outlet for stopping me ruminating about work and stressful things for sure,

before i had painting i would worry to much about work things lol

I love that halberdier. That edition was so much faster to paint compared to the present ones. So much junk on 8 ed state troops. Looking forward to see a whole unit of those.

I think you misunderstood him.

He wrote every Empire model, not every model ever being made...

But there is no denying the speed, class, and combined goodness in this thread.

Tee old school Pistoliers are also cool models. The paining looks great as always.

It's a toppled scarecrow. If you look closely you can see the smashed pumpkin that was its head. Hmmm, maybe I've spent too much time poring over the Kislev contingent supplement, that I know that off the top of my head...

Anyway, the painted horses certainly make those pistoliers stand out. Clever idea!

Final highlights applied quickly, mithril silver , and more blue washes to the armour recesses , blood red blend on horse skin layered.
