Hi - has anyone got an image of the range of metal Clerics citadel did in the 80's?

http://www.collecting-citadel-miniatures.com/wiki/index.php/Clerics_-_C03_%28slotta_base%29

Between that site and Stuff of Legends you can track down most every old citadel mini.

Once you finished him would be great to see it next to the current Pegasus/Balthasar Gelt mini as the wing span looks massive in comparison.

One of those miniatures I always wanted when I started playing but never got around to getting  :icon_cry:

I'm thinking a wacky bright colour scheme ??!

what do you recon to bright orange fur and some feathers ?

then white skin, and black gloss armour on the Captain, gold seat ...

insane or genius?!

That Pegasus is awesome (I have two).

Bright orange or yellow hair should work - I think I've seen 'Eavy Metal versions with a similar colour scheme. Not sure about the feathers and whether they would go so well with a white body, but it could look good.

I've got two as well, plus a third with wings the same as the old Deathclaw.

My oldest one though, is old enough that it's pewter rather than white metal, so a little soft, and the top heavy nature meant the legs got really weakend, and bent out of shape.  I've now got a piece of clear tubing a bit of old paintbrush protector holding it up as a kind of third leg.

I had re-pinned them and that strengthed it for a while, but it eventually started leaning forward, and now there is severe metal fatigue.

Anyway, some inspiration for how to paint it, check out my plog, I used to have it white with rainbow wings, then did a more sensible scheme for a conversion competition

is he from the same range as some of the guys on here? http://chaosorc.com/warhammer-fant-used-empire-c-354_304_308.html?osCsid=2a199c317b2cdde3afcc8b8b65bd5501

That used to be a great site.  About a year or so ago I picked up a bunch of old Iron Claw Black Orcs and 7 Maruader halberdiers (f29).  Word seems to have gotten out though, they no longer have nearly the selection of oop minis as they used to.

There are three things each man judges another man by;

1. The size of his codpiece
2. The amount of skulls he carries
3. The length of his feather

I remember putting that beast together. I wish now that I didn't trade it for two leman russes, though that was a good trade at the time.

Kudos on the painting, it looks great!

I have this model, but I seriously converted it into a horse (new hooves, removed the wings etc.)

I have since cannibalized it for parts, but I still have the guts of the model . . . I am thinking some kind of "shattered statue unit filler" is indicated!

I can understand removing the wings and making it some kind of (very) imposing horse for a general or something but remove the hooves? Why?

Very nice Chumley, really like the pattern on the feathers.

They are too small - I replaced them with the hooves from the metal Bloodthirster.
