Did you win it???

And how exactly does it count as Empire, because there are a heck of a lot of very collectible Citadel Orientals if you are going to go down that route... ::heretic::

Chumley ... have you started buying older Empire knights yet?  Found a package of 3 that I might pick up for you if you need them.

They are certainly not GW 28mm, nor 28mm, probably 25mm at best.  One of the horses has a sad paint job thats slowly been wearing off, but little if anything else has been painted.  One figure is a guy brandishing a sword in the air and no helmet, the other two have helmets and lances, if I recall correctly.
Like the High Helms etc from 1987?

I have a few.

If u do buy them, send me a pic.

:)
What do those look like?  Think what I saw might be older.

I always liked this figure.  Have one, but haven't painted it yet.

Imagine he's a noble with extensively trained with sword and shield, and that's his hunting gun on his back.

We're getting a little bit personal with that question, but now that you asked, no.  I save that for women, not miniatures. :icon_wink:

And nope, those knights in those pictures don't look like what I saw.

Then make three times that. It should be enough for half the roof Glue

Picked up those 3 "Imperial" knights today.  Not sure I've ever seen them before.

The horses have a single slotted base and each horse looks exactly the same.

Two of the knights have imperial style skirts, like that Marienburger shown above, with breast plates full helms, and a feathered headdress that sticks up and rolls down their backs, carrying lances which need to be glued on, as do the arms with shields.

The third figure is one piece, except for a cloak that can be affixed to his back.  His shield has a raised templar looking cross on it, and he's in full body armor, no skirt, no helmet, sword arm in the air brandishing the blade.  His air cut is like he had a bowl put on it.

I'll borrow someone's camera when possible, and put up a picture when I can.

Was this one different then the ones they did release?  I remember these on the shelves back in the day.  I bought the hobgoblin one.

I like the white-blue robe color on that fire wizard. Nice departure from the traditional choices, and really works.

Good report, crazy army lists!  :icon_eek:

Nice to see Gelt + Final Transformation + crazy sized unit = humungous casualties, as I think I'll take him in our big Christmas game (4 x 5000 point armies, bigger if I get my way...)
