I must admit to being quite envious myself of late.

I really do like those two Kislev models, and the Halloween Pumpkin wizard.
Your paintjob has brought out the best of them - very vivid and well blended colours.

........... and so it should be.

I doubt the price will matter very much to me, as I am likely to reach death's door long before you  ......................... :engel:

Nice!  I like how the Iris in the eye at the top of the staff looks pearly and glowing.  Maybe just the lighting but cool anyway.

It's not the light, I have noticed there is something spiritual about these unreleased models, something hidden within them

I still have the Space War deck from this set. I always wanted the Warhammer and Warrior deck but never got around to getting it at the time and the much later released Man O' War deck.

The spacewar set is what got me into GW stuff. I still have the dwarf and warrior set as well.
There are 40 different shades of black, so many fortresses and ways to attack.

So why you complaining!

Only a few months late to satiate Chumley's curiosity, I've spotted a Battle Lord - not quite in the wild, nor for sale, but nevertheless painted, which is remarkable enough.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/96961833/fantasy-miniatures-1988 - page 19/20.

Of course, I might have seen this before, but without Chumley to guide me, have scrolled aimlessly past it!

The barbarian on the left you painted at the end of last month is one my favourite models. I remember seeing him in catalogues and always thought one day I would get him. Then he became unavailable. Years later I managed to get him from eBay. I really have no use for him in my army but I still love him. Such a dynamic pose!
