Also has anyone posted this unreleased Hero Quest Wizard yet and are you aware of him and if so have you painted him yet?  :-)

C26 , I was thinking as much.

The problem with the C26 range, is that it wasn't documented.

The good thing is , Foundry have the entire range, re cast.

It's on my list to buy  :::cheers:::

The thing is that if you paint and base them, then it is quite difficult to tell if they have a slottabase or a moulded one .............  :engel:

You mean they will be using Ouija boards instead of Tarot cards for their business plans from now on?

GW only listed the C26 range in a couple of White Dwarfs, as Men at Arms and something else ,

anyway , the range was massive, Foundry have bought all the casts.

With GW it's impossible to tell what was even made in slotta format.

Hence I am going to just buy the whole 330 ish Foundry Models

Remembering that they were also 25mm scale, when you stick them on a slottabase and then use a bit of filler to blend the model's base in, they then fit well with later larger minis.

Hey chumley here's a bit more detail about the unreleased stuff you posted earlier:
http://www.cmdante.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

As I mentioned earlier, they were trainee sculpts made by Giorgio Bassani back in 2010.
However, it seems like they were never cast.

I hope that helps to shine the light on those mysterious models. :D

It seems Jes Goodwin may have solved this mystery - see http://eldritchepistles.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/update-on-unreleased-unseen-heroquest.html for my updated blog post.

I'm seriously considering a radical colour scheme !

Red armour plates, and cream puff and slash garments on every man

with maybe a turquoise feather on each hat ,

haha

Those are awesome, though, the skin tone and sickly green color make them look a bit...undead.  I really like how they brought out the armor, anyway.  Professionals...*sigh*.

What's going on with the chainmail though?
It looks a terrible sculpt - rather than the painting.
