Why, what's wrong? I just see Stormcast and Tau on it.

Amazing work on the Khorne models btw. Really looking forward to your black orcs. :smile2:

It's horrendous, they have lumped all the armies together into factions like ''forces for destruction ''

it's like someone is having a laugh

Oh, that. That's just how AoS categorizes the factions now. Players can build any army they want without worrying about restrictions besides what models work well together.

Though I can see how that might be a bit hard to adjust too, it does offer limitless themes to build your army around. It also gives GW a massive window of what they can create model-wise for the setting.

At first I thought you were speaking about the missing lizardmen models, because they've just been shown that they are getting repackaged with round bases.

not to be tooo negative but when AoS fails this could be the end of fantasy ( maybe GW) will sale the rights to another company to carry on with 9th edition.

I think I'd prefer that to what we've got now.  It's not like they're doing anything for my game (Fantasy) now anyway.  As is, I do all of my shopping off eBay since AoS came out.  I just can't bring myself to support GW (and indirectly AoS) in any sort of direct manner.  I'd rather them sell their "rights" to a company that will actually try to do it justice.  It wouldn't surprise me if GW didn't sell the game to anyone else just out of spite though.

Well spite and the money they're making from the recent warhammer games.

A first attempt for you is what most people could only match at their 20th attempt. :icon_wink:

Really good work! :eusa_clap:

I'm not even using blending at all,, white spray 100%, then red watery coat 100% , then base coats watery, then I wash the whole model 3 times, and dry each time using hair dryer....

then highlight with white lines, and silver, and use a brighter red with some yellow added to touch up the armour,

then fine details,

cheating really !

Looking good. Curious: did you do any converting or are these the black orc models as they come in the box?
Now go! Ride towards the sun atop these noble steeds
You're our spandex heroes, now fullfil your destinies
And so we turned and rode beyond the castle walls
with shiny codpiece armour that doth cradle our chivalrous balls

I'm using a combination of the plastic kits and the metal oop ones,

no conversions

So kitbashing :) I like them. Not an orc man myself but these look pretty spiffy.

Excellent work as always Mr Warner! I wish I could paint figures as quickly and as cleanly as you do. You've managed to achieve in a few hours what would take me a month!

So I wanted a Daemon Prince that was not too over the top.. I found an old OOP metal one, from GW. Not taller than a dragon ogre,

Regarding the khorne travers, do they actually rank up? I see gaps but is that because they CANT rank or they just got shifted around on the tray. I sold mine because I didn't think I could rank em.

I think I can rank em. The tray was just a close match I had... I'll get some proper size trays soon.

It will be hard though...

I gonna buy the newer boxset and see how they look also , then mix up 40 painted

Niice! That model brings back memories... My mate used to have that exact Daemon Prince in his WoC army when we were about 13, it made mincemeat of my old bretonnians!

Awesome to see it painted up by a true master!
