Ok so a tweak on my last game to counter the regen save of multiple Trolls, Throgg, and Festus with his 80 Marauders on 5+ regen..

This time my xbows will render regen useless on at least 1 advancing unit in the shooting phase, giving me the hones to wack em with cannon and mortar and HBVG with regen down.


Fire wizards on hand to throw in some fireballs

The Genesus and Walter are there to hunt out characters like Festus or Throgg , eg. the ones with low Initiative...

Flaming Xbows in centre field, with a HBVG pn their direct left and right!

That way , any of his regen save units, 12 trolls + throgg  or 80 marauders with festus  , who come close , will get hit first with 20 fire bolts, then a battery of hell blasting!

If any non regen units try to charge this battery, i will pin them with the Walter further out

The battery will be placed last in my set up, giving me tactical room to get him to place his units 1st

so i choose my locations and play

Is your Wizard Lord a Fire Wizard as well? I'm guessing you plan to take the Signature spell on at least two of them lest you run out of spells for the 8 spell levels you have.
