I played Lizzies last night and one in a very close battle. Came down to a challenge between my WP and his general. All criticisms/reviews are greatly appreciated!

I had put the WP in with my halberds, Captain in with GS, and my wizzy with my handgunners.

You should swap out the free company for a halberdier or swordsmen detachment, probably a halberdier one as you need more higher strength attacks against their heavy infantry.
Always take at least one small knight unit if he's running skinks, you can get quite a few points from them especially if there's a skink wizard in there.

I currently only have the free company models... But it seems a bit lame to do a horde of halberds with a detachment of halberds.
