Flee and Flank? Sounds interesting, please tell us more about the way one should play an army like this!

The only remark I can make at the moment (as I've got no experience with a list such as yours) is: How do you protect your hammer unit from shooting. You're clearly going to swamp the field with multiple units and will likely be able to place that unit last but I still imagine the enemy throwing everything he's got at that unit!
How do you keep it alive?

Also known as the wolfpack method, this is basically about getting several small units (usually cavalry, but also applicable to Dark Elf MSU lists) around a larger enemy unit, and forcing a flank charge by fleeing with a unit that gets charged, getting away, and charging into the flanks/rear of the failed charger in the next turn. With several units charging from different directions, fleeing from your charges will be more difficult than usual.
The only good thing about 7th ed heads is that they look particularly inbred and superstitious which is perfect for Stirlanders

Not to mention the VP denial aspect of this army.  Let's see how many standards are there..............what one?  Also remember this list is more than 2000 pts for the Colonial.   I've really never figured out how this list loses except to folks with lots of tarpit units.  If it had a Steamtank and the Laurels on the GM it would be Empire Tourney list perfection.

Looks like my list, except with the points Atch made above and the fact I have two big knight blocks.  You use the nilla knights to divert units, fleeing from charges (or staying and hoping to outrun, depends on the positioning you want) and hitting the enemy in the flank.

Out manuver is the name of the game.

I like the list.

Not much defense against it either.  Castle up in the corner, throw magic and shoot and pray that you don't fail your restrain pursuit rolls.

Now be honest:

Would you place a banner in a small 5 man unit of knights?

Oh and for the record:  I will never take another steam tank again.  They are way too easy to kill even with 29 wounds.

Nice list.  Personally, I would think about dropping the champs from all of your 'nilla knight units.  8 x 16 = 126pts.  Thats *another* unit of 'nilla knights w/ musician, plus spare change.

One thing that might really hurt this list is if your opponents have plenty of magic and spells that don't allow armour saves, D6 S5 hits no amrour saves - like spells could really ruin it.

It is very rare that I will fear a magic missile with a 1+ save.  I am more fearful of the movement spells.  True no armor save attacks will hurt but they are few and far between.

My biggest headache comes from fear causing armies.  The psychology tests often ruin my attack plans as units fail fear tests one after the other.
VC, Tomb Kings, and Daemones will hurt and I not looking forward to facing them.

...You, sir, are a communist and not a gentleman.

To be honest, I don't like this list. The opposing player's ability to defend against this depends almost entirely on the terrain. I certainly wouldn't call it cheesy, but I can't envision it being any fun to play against.

You are right Atchman.  Woodies also give me fits.

The secret to beating this list.....control the psychology and movement of the game.  They are the two biggest weakness in my list.
