Background Questions: Medals and Honours

In real life the US has things like the Medal of Honour, the Silver Star; Britain has the Victoria Cross, the Order of Merit...

Does anybody know of any such things existing or named in Imperial background?

I remember back during the Nemesis Crown campaign all the achievements you could unlock were named/fluffed after real Imperial medals and such. That might be an interesting place to start looking, if anyone had a list saved.
