Title: Garnering conversion opinion.

I am currently making the equivalent to Teutogen Guard, or Standing White Wolves counting as greatswords more or less. While the greatsword bodies are well armored at the torso, they have primarily unarmored and frilly legs. Do you think they'll still look cool, or will those legs from the original greatswords seem very unbecoming of White Wolves?

I was also considering making another Greatswords conversion of turning them into either standing Reiksguard or standing Knights Panther, and wasn't sure how it would look for them either. So I am shockingly asking for internet opinion. :engel:

Post by: Fidelis von Sigmaringen on July 20, 2019, 09:42:27 AM: I cannot see why not. For a more armoured look, you could get the heads from the Empire Knightly Orders. Also, the State troops command group conatins a model with full body armour. Alternatively, you could convert Chaos Warriors, or use non-GW minis. Note that when the Reiksguard on foot existed in earlier editions, they were carrying HW & shield.

I seem to remember they weren't quite ready when I bought the other footknight sets and spare weapons, and have forgotten they existed.

I have the witch hunters set, but am not sure if I have missed anything else in the last year or so.
