Very nice mate, I know the pain of painting one of these. Never again!

Amazing!
I believe the device on the side is an astrolabe, by the way.

Now I wonder if I can pick up those horses separately for a conversion..
Now go! Ride towards the sun atop these noble steeds
You're our spandex heroes, now fullfil your destinies
And so we turned and rode beyond the castle walls
with shiny codpiece armour that doth cradle our chivalrous balls

Great job!  :::cheers::: :::cheers::: :::cheers:::

I magnetized the Acolyte too, though I don't know weather (HA! Get it?) I'll ever put my also magnetized Celetsial Lord on there.

Looks great.

But do yourself a favour and never, ever mount a wizard on either of the magic carts. The model riding mine is indeed a wizard, but I figure that's just part of the wagon rather than a character.

Cheers thanks. Youll see it at Cancon - what are you taking btw? I heard on dwelllers podcast something about flagellants. .As for mounting a proper wizard, Yeah i dont think ill ever do it, but who knows. Might be viable in 9th ed

Yeah, a Flagellant-heavy Empire army. Didn't have time to paint anything much new and couldn't do anything really interesting in the comp environment. You can find my list here: http://hoodlinghole.blogspot.com.au/2014/01/once-more-to-cancon.html

Thought i might as well paint the wizard from the hurricanum kit. The light wizard in my opinion looks far better than the heavens one, plus i haven't actually got a light wizard in my collection yet (ive never even cast banishment yet! cue gasp), so i went with that.

Work in progress:

Yeah - not sure i want to be one of those types of empire players. But on the other hand... - ok sure  :-D. Now to paint a war altar which is such an incredibly different model to the hurricanum and which wasn't a pain to paint at all (disclaimer - all comments here may contain traces of sarcasm).

So beautiful!

Keep posting pics - your Hurricanum is one of the best paint jobs I've ever seen. The light wizard is also outstanding!  :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap:
