Damn, just got tagged in a video from an old friend of mine on FB. It was pretty much a Farwell letter to me and others because the doctor just sent him an email saying that he is still on the mysterious disease list but he is suffering from multiple organ failure. Damn.

A continued unhappy thought. My fiancée ex is moving back to the last town we were living in, 300 miles south. I also found out that she was cheating on me when she decided to leave. Now I get to re-figure out my life from this point without her, and its tearing me apart.

What gets me is I know she cheated because I wasn't giving her enough attention, because I was trying to graduate...

Not to be mean about a woman you (presumably) still love, but: If you giving her not enough attention was only due to your graduation, she didn't cheat on you because of too little attention, but because she's a weak character.

What did she want, an uneducated slob who was around her all day? In a year's time, she might have cheated because you weren't doing anything to ge ahead in life. Good riddance I say.

Sorry if that is phrased too harsh for you in your current state of mind.

This sucks. I know it hurts, and I know how MUCH it hurts, personally. But Gnu is right in saying that you are in no way responsible for her cheating. You cannot blame yourself for her indiscretion. There is no excuse for cheating, and it is a clear indication that she had already broken up with you in her heart and mind.

It isn't too harsh, I've been moving on beyond the pain as best as I can, and have at least reached a point that I can handle such blunt comments and appreciate them. About the lack of attention leading to cheating, I know that it isn't strictly my fault, but I'm not innocent in the matter either. Lack of attention is one of the major issues our relationship had. Now, I should have seen this coming considering she has ended her last 3 relationships the same way for the same reason (Yes, I was the other guy to her last relationship). I was just fooled by love and the ideal that people can, will, and do change.

I don't know whether this is any consolation to you at all, but finally, it was her decision to cheat on you instead of talking to you openly. You aren't responsible for her decisions, and there is no way you could have changed that.
