Been working on some 40k stuff this week, but did take a break to paint up two Mordheim minis

Yep, both Mordheim minis.

Have taken a break from Fantasy, to work on an old school Imperial Guard force. Will probably be spending another month or so finishing these off

Middenheimer Youngblood on the left and a member of a Witch Hunter Warband on the right, I believe. Great looking stuff!

The lady with the hammers there, Auger and Bertha Bestrafrau....or whatever her name is are now hard to find, in decent condition as most people chopped them up for conversions.

On the subject of Mordians. My 95th Lasrifles need some touch ups....so they can give the enemy the Sharpe end

I guess if GW ever brings back Mordians, they'll be as parts heavy as the Death Korps kits, will undoubtedly have specific builds and have capes and tabards that will need to be painted seperatly

Still working on various things. Mostly going through the backlog at the moment, knocking over some long-standing projects. Like this classic

But I also took the time to finish another mini for the empire army. Kinda looks like JC Simmons in Whiplash imho.....

Got this guy in the recent made to order run. A very strangely posed sculpt. Needed heavy green stuffing and pinning. And it's a pain to try to photograph given the way the griffon is turning. But I think it turned out ok

The first large, metal miniature i ever tried my hands at was the Orc general on Wyvern. The thing was a nightmare to assemble and needed to be pinned. I remember the tail didn't sit right on its mounting point.

There is also a dirty joke i can tell about my brother trying to assemble his first metal models :biggriin:

Go on  :-P

Have gone back over my Knights Panther regiment. Gave them a bit of a touch-up, and filled out the second rank. Considered replacing the shields entirely, but decided against it for now.

Finished up another regiment. Whilst I think these 6th ed minis are better than the newer (current) crop, I would love to see a new set released for old world at some point, albeit they would probably not scale at all well with older minis. In any case don't think the Empire ever did all that well with any of the plastic state troop kits. Nothing still surpasses the old metal sculpts.

Continuing with the colourful theme. These were from a TTcombat Kickstarter a year or so ago

Who wants the hear the dirty joke about the old Orc boss on Wyvern?

A certain troglodyte i used to know tried to assemble said pewter Wyvern and Orc boss with PVA glue, only to get the opaque goo everywhere in the process and looked like he'd donate an overly generous sample of sperm in the process.

I have picked up some stuff off ebay which has made me question what on earth the previous owner had used to glue them together......

Am hoping these images work. Imgur is down in some regions, so have been looking for an alternative. This is what I have painted up over the past few weeks. Something I have been wanting to tick off for a bit

Was the old Slan easy to assemble? I've heard nothing but horror stories about that kit
